-SCARLETT'S POV-

The finale was a week away from airing and I sat in the Green Room at our latest convention, getting a few minutes to breathe before I had to head to the stage for my panel with Jensen.

"Hey, stranger. Haven't seen you in what feels like forever."

"Hi, Moose," I smiled, giving Jared a hug.

It was weird not having seen him or several other cast and crew members in over a month since filming had ended for the season. Jensen and I had both called Misha and Jared multiple times since Texas, but the only time I had really gotten to see their faces was when we watched the episodes each week. While it was cool to see the full, edited product, it would never stop being weird to me to watch Supernatural now that my face was on screen beside the main cast members.

"You ready for your panel with your boyfriend?"

"Are you and Misha going to crash it again?"

"Now why would you go around with an idea like that? Misha and I are very civilized people who know better than to crash other people's panels."

"Since when?" Jensen asked, walking into the room with Misha at his side.

"No, no, Jared's got a point," Misha shook his head.

"I think it's hopeless, Lightweight," Jensen grinned, stealing a kiss.

"Oh, don't act like you're so innocent yourself," I mumbled against his lips.

My boyfriend drew back, acting like a wounded animal that I'd just shot.

"I think you hurt his feelings," Jared stage whispered.

I couldn't keep back the snort as I busted out laughing.

"What's so funny?"

"Baby in a trench coat," I said through my giggles.

Jared also joined in with laughter, leaving both Jensen and Misha looking miffed.

"Why do you have to turn everything into a quote?" Jensen addressed me.

"Hey, that one wasn't me. That was Jared quoting himself, even if it was unintentional."

"Alright, Giggles, we have to get backstage for our panel."

"You have a lot of nicknames for me," I commented as we made our way in that direction.

"You have a fair amount for me, too," he pointed out.

"Yeah, but you're always coming up with new ones. I always use the same ones."

"And yet somehow we always both end up back on Lightweight and Douchebag."

"Well, those are classics, and there's no way that's changing any time soon," I insisted.

"You're not wrong there, Lightweight."

He put an arm around my shoulders, pulling me flush against his side as we entered the backstage area. We could easily hear the chatter of the audience while they were waiting for the panel to start. Rich and Rob were off to the side, talking in low voices.

"...had to be escorted off the premises," Rich was saying softly.

"And you're sure she had JJ with her?" Rob quizzed him.

When Rich nodded, I felt Jensen go stiff, but he didn't take his arm away as we walked up to them. Glancing up, I saw an almost-too-wide smile plastered on his face.

"We ready to start this thing?" he asked loudly.

The two Kings of Con jumped apart slightly, turning to face us.

"W-well it looks like it's time," Rob stuttered out.

While they headed out to begin with their normal shenanigans while introducing Jensen and I to the fans, I pulled my boyfriend down for a kiss.

"What's that for?"

"Figured you needed it," I shrugged. "It'll be fine, Jay. We'll figure it out."

"She had JJ with her... She probably freaked out when they wouldn't let her see me... JJ would have seen..."

I cut off his words with another kiss.

"We'll figure it out. Together," I stated more firmly.

This time, a more genuine smile tugged at his lips as he leaned in for a third kiss. We vaguely heard Rob saying our names and forced ourselves to break apart long enough to walk out on stage.

"I was wondering if Jensen is aware Danneel was here earlier?"

I had to bite back my groan. Part of me hoped that it wouldn't be brought up and we almost made it to the end of the panel without it. Glancing over at his hard expression, I took the lead.

"Jensen was recently made aware, but that's all we're willing to share at this time. Thanks for your question."

Jay reached over, giving my hand a grateful squeeze as the next fan asked their question. Pretty soon the panel ended and we left the stage.

"Thank you."

"In this together, right?"

Jensen smiled, pressing a kiss to my temple as he pulled me into his side again. The rest of the day passed without incident. I could still tell the idea that Danneel and JJ had been so close by and he hadn't seen them bothered him, but anytime it looked like he was distracted by it, I'd take his hand or nudge his arm and he'd smile again. Later that night, we were out at a restaurant with some of the other cast members when the subject was really broached.

"So if we hadn't overheard you two talking, was I just supposed to find out about Danneel from the fans?"

The table fell silent as everyone waited with bated breath. Jensen was glaring over at Rich and Rob who both looked extremely uncomfortable.

"W-well we..." Rob stammered.

"That is to say we..." Rich also trailed off.

"We planned on telling you after the panel," Jared spoke up.

"So the answer is yes, then."

"Jay," I whispered, grabbing onto his arm.

"She was here with my daughter and you guys decided to keep it from me."

"We weren't going to-" Misha started.

"Bull," Jensen growled.

"Jensen," I spoke a little louder this time.

"We didn't want to tell you because we knew you'd overreact," Rich said. "Kind of like you are now."

As Jensen glared across the table at everyone, I tugged on his arm.

"Jensen, come on."

It took a few tries, but Jensen finally stood up and followed me to a secluded area at the back of the restaurant.
