Raven had finally gotten better and been able to stand for 2 weeks now. She and Damian had been on multiple dates and were working past their fear of protection over each other, or overprotection, which turned out to be very beneficial towards the young couple. They really began to live like an ordinary couple and the addition of Titus certainly helped that. Raven loved Titus the same as Damian did. They were like parents to the dog and felt a strong connection with the animal.

Both Raven and Damian were dreading returning to school as it could put an unnecessary amount of stress with their relationship. While it was only a thing for 1 and a half months, it was very deep and serious. The two felt bound to each other and held an incredibly strong bond, and that was definitely certain.

Raven had come to almost regret keeping their relationship a secret from their school as it was proving to be a bit of a burden just thinking about it. Raven worried that once the secret got out it would be the end of her. She would be harassed and bullied because of it, because she wasn't seen as good enough, because others would be jealous. People were reassured in a way by the fact that before, Damian and Raven really were just friends but that didn't stop any speculation.

That worry came second to the one thing she was really worried about. The one thing that would make or ruin her life; would society accept her as the girlfriend of Damian Wayne. Damian is the son of one of the most famous people in the country and that made him just as famous. If society didn't accept Raven, a former street girl with no money, as his girlfriend it would devastate her and she would feel unworthy of Damian's love.

She sat there pondering over all of this. School was starting in 3 days and this was all she could think about. She should be focusing on the movie that she and Damian were watching on the sofa but that's all she could think about, other peoples opinions. Damian noticed this and tightened his grip on Raven's shoulder. This gave Raven a sense of comfort as she wasn't alone. Damian didn't care like she did and she knew it.

"What's wrong, Beloved?" Damian asked. That nickname had become a somewhat regular one and Raven loved it.

"Nothing." Raven said.

"Really because you've been staring at the movie but I don't think you actually know what's happening." Damian said in a matter of fact way.

Raven sighed and leaned on her boyfriend's chest, maintaining a frown. Damian ran his hand through her hair slowly before she spoke up. "I'm not good enough for you." Raven said flatly.

"That's not up to you or anyone else." Damian said with a hint of irritation.

"Maybe not but people will still say it." Raven said. She was being difficult about this but she had to be.

"Well they're wrong, believe me, Raven I've been wondering if I'm even good enough for you." Damian said with a frown now on his face. Raven turned to him and placed a hand on his cheek, softly caressing it. He leaned into the touch and closed his eyes. The sight made Raven smile and she slowly kissed him with almost painful slowness and love.

"You're the best, Damian. Never doubt how good you are for me." Raven said with a wide smile in her face.

Damian opened his eyes slowly and smiled. "No you're the best. I should be telling you this. I don't care what other people say about us, I'm with you and that's not gonna change. You're the only one I want and I hope the only one I ever have." Raven's smile somehow got wider and she quickly pulled Damian into a heated kiss. Damian met with equal intensity and pulled her as close as he could.

They broke the kiss, reluctantly, and Raven spoke up as they leaned their heads on each other. "I love you, you know that right? How do you always manage to make me feel better about... well, everything?" Raven asked with pure love and admiration beaming out of her eyes as the locked with his. Smiles on both their lips.

"I love you too, what can i say it looks like I'm just amazing at everything." Damian said smugly, earning a playful slap from Raven and the two laughed before having a very long and heated make out session. They forgot about the film and Raven knew that doubt was pointless.

In 3 days she could bask in her mew reality and truly embrace herself to become Damian Wayne's public boyfriend (after a while.)

So tired. I struggled to keep my eyes open or know what I was typing. Any mistakes, let me know. Now imma pass out 😂😴
