"I think this would be good."
"The Manor? For our wedding?"
"Why not? Everyone is gonna be there anyway. Besides, it's the most private place we can do it."
"True. I suppose it's fine then."
Damian and Raven had immediately started wedding planning. Location was definitely a difficulty for them seeing as they had nowhere to really get it done. Neither of them were religious and so a church was basically pointless.
Eventually they did settle for Wayne Manor.
Damian text Bruce to ensure that it was ok for that to happen. Bruce didn't seem to mind, but he did recommend a few places just in case. He and Selina weren't married in the manor after all.
"I'd say this is easy, but I'm honestly lost. What do we need next?" Raven asked her fiancé. She and Damian had been sitting there on their bed for a while now with Damian's laptop there. He hadn't used it for a while.
"We need someone to officiate the wedding. Not like we know anyone who can do that." Damian replied.
"Who did Bruce and Selina's?"
"I don't know, I wasn't there." Damian admitted.
"You weren't there? Where were you?" Raven cautiously asked. She thought this might be a bit sensitive.
"I was out. I took a very, very long walk by myself. Turned up last minute at the end. Father and Selina seemed to be happy they got that." Damian explained plainly.
"Why did you do that?" Raven asked.
"I was not keen on seeing all the family. Not to mention the fact that it was weird to see my father with someone who I have no relation to. Who's not my mother." Damian took a deep breath, clearly not liking the topic.
"I get it. I mean, I don't even know my father and god knows about my mother. Frankly I just didn't have parents." Raven only slightly sadly said.
Damian wrapped an arm around her in comfort. She snuggled up to him and sighed in contempt. Both of them just sitting there and relaxing.
Raven had never really known the comfort of a parent. The love of a parent. The care. If she had, she couldn't remember it. She knew for a fact that she'd never met her father. It was strange how she had this idea of what he looked like though. Still, he wasn't there and that was that.
Damian had known little of what Raven had none of. His father was not great at parenting and god help his mother. Assassin training wasn't exactly the normal starting school for him. Then again, his mother wanted a weapon, not a child.
"I know who can do it." Damian abruptly said, causing Raven to look over to him.
"Who?"
"Alfred. Alfred can do it. He always said he'd like to do one of our weddings out of me and my brothers." Damian confidently stated.
Raven smiled before she spoke up. "Then let's get Alfred on it." She said.
Damian could practically see the day coming together. Raven could too. It was their vision after all. Everything would be how they wanted it and nothing could go wrong.
Sorry I know this is short, but I'm fucking melting! It's so hot!!
Next chapter should be out relatively quickly 👍🏻
