Was originally gonna go for something different with this chapter so the title might not make too much sense but eh 😂

"DAMI!"

That was all Damian could hear as he rushed through the kitchen. It was a large room, perhaps too large. Yet he ran through there like his life depended on it, in a way, it did. He valued Raven as his soulmate, his love... his everything. He couldn't let anything else happen to her.

"I'm coming Raven!" He yelled as he leaped over the kitchen table.

He barged through the bedroom door and he couldn't believe the sight that awaited him. It was beyond processing, even his intellect could not fathom what was going on.

"Spider! Spider! Dami, help!" Raven shouted from atop the bed. She was holding a pillow as if she was trying to protect herself from the harmless 3cm spider.

"You're kidding right?" Was all Damian managed to say. His face held disinterest.

"They're horrible things! Help!" Raven couldn't stop screaming.

"Ugh ok." Damian said before picking the spider up and throwing it out of the window. Raven quickly jumped into his arms with an exaggeratedly gloomy face.

"My hero! Thank you! Thank you!" Raven repeated into Damian's ear. He was confused, he couldn't find a way to explain this bizzare behaviour from her. Her period was recent and he only remembered that because he received a scolding for folding a T-shirt wrong.

"How about I give my hero an award." Raven stated in a flirtatious voice. She began fiddling with the button of Damian's shirt. His face was red and so was hers but this was not what he expected at all.

"You... you want to...?" Damian stuttered. This was bold for her. Not that he wasn't happy about this but after learning what Raven had been through, he thought this was something to come much later.

"Mhm... I know you think that this isn't like me, you know what I went through. Believe me I was planning on waiting but, I trust you. You're the one person I trust with me. The one person I love." Raven explained. Things looked clearer now, she wants to show she's not afraid. She wants to strengthen the bond and prove her love fully.

"I see... well, if you're sure..." he was interrupted by her finger on his lips, silencing him.

"I'm sure. Just be gentle." Raven all but pleaded. Damian simply nodded before breaking out of her hold to trap her in his. The two were kissing with a burning passion. Something was being released here, a force that had been waiting to be released for a long time.

Damian laid Raven on the bed, both stripping each other of their clothes. Once nude they simply looked at each other, admiring each other's bodies. Damian stared into Raven's eyes, waiting for permission to touch her, to fill her and to express his love for her. She nodded.

This was the first time for both of them. The first of many.

"Dami, I love you." Raven said. She came down from her orgasm and tucked up to Damian.

"I love you too, Raven. I'm so glad you're my first. My first and only." Damian said lovingly.

"Me too. I'm glad you were my first." Raven said.

"You know we'll be late to school tomorrow because of this." Damian said.

"Nope, we'll take the day off, I think I need a day to process this and maybe take advantage of it even more." Raven said with a laugh.

"Ok fine, we'll do that. I can't believe you lured me in with a spider panic." Damian also laughed.

"Sorry it was the only way to get you over so quickly."

"I know. I'm glad that spider was there."

"I'm not! They're terrifying even if it did work in my favour."

"Oh well, I'm glad even if you're not." Damian laughed.

"Of course I'm glad. I love you." Raven said.

"I love you too." Damian said.

They closed each other in their arms and prepared to fall asleep. They felt in bliss from the experience they had just had. The love they felt went sky high.

"We're out of shower gel by the way." Raven confessed.

"Oh great." Damian said with a chuckle.
