Raven felt sore. So sore. She was in pain from the... too good night with Damian. But as she was walking to school, she had to resist the urge to get Damian to carry her. She didn't want to make a scene. 'Girlfriend of Damian Wayne carried by him to school.' Yeah, she didn't want that.

On the other hand Damian felt great. Not that Raven didn't but it felt like he was given a whole new life.

However he was not oblivious to the discomfort Raven was feeling. Even by just holding her hand he was supposedly 'overdoing it' in terms of the public eye.

As the two came up to the school gates they noticed the green haired boy standing outside. Garfield Logan looked strangely annoyed and frustrated. It was as if he had a string of bad luck for a day.

The couple were in no mood to deal with him but he approached and there was no stopping him.

"Hey you two lovebirds."

Raven sighed in annoyance. "What do you want?!"

"I'd just like a minute of your time."

"I'm being generous with 5 seconds." Raven did not care for whatever he had to say.

"You have a few seconds left." Damian said.

"Sorry rich boy I need Raven for it and not the overprotective boyfriend." Garfield said with a hint of a smirk.

"If it'll get you to leave us alone then fine!" Raven yelled.

She gave Damian a bit of reassurance after he said she didn't need to do anything. She liked that he he cared. She loved it but that was only going to get in the way of potentially ending the annoyance of Garfield Logan.

After Damian disappeared from viewing distance he decided to remain in hearing proximity. He trusted Raven but he wanted to make sure she was safe.

"Alright wtf do you wa-" Raven was interrupted by Garfield's hand slapping into her face. He forcefully pulled her against the wall and began pulling her uniform off.

"Get off me! Let me go!"

"You think I'll let that beat have all the fun?! No way, I'll show you how much better I am." Garfield began undoing her skirt.

Raven couldn't get him away. She was too weak. Why? She thought to herself why this kept happening to her. Why she was always put in a position where she would be the victim, she would have someone else try and take her.

She was on the verge of losing hope as a tear rolled down her cheek. Until she saw Damian's face. He wasn't there, not yet at least. But seeing him gave her that hope. He was the one, the one who really cared for her, who really lives her and doesn't just want her for her body. She was strong. Strong enough to secure herself for whom she deemed worthy. That someone would always be him.

She slapped Garfield in the face after breaking her arms free. He was quick to get her arms in his hands. She was quicker to kick him in the dick.

"Ow! You bitch! Now you're really doing it."

"No, we're doing it." Damian appeared out of nowhere and punched Garfield in the face, quickly knocking him out.

Damian ran to Raven and held her tight but noticed she wasn't exactly crying, more like she was trying to be strong.

All he saw on her face was a smile that signaled, 'I did it. I defended myself.' And Damian couldn't be more proud. He wrapped her in his arms again and gave her a kiss.

"I did it... I really did it. I'm not weak." Raven whispered.

"You did it, Raven. You are strong. You've always been strong."

"I did it for you... I did it for myself and for you. I'm yours, no one else has me but you."

"You're your own person too. You proved that. But I'm glad I have you, just like you have me."

"I love you."

"I love you too."

The two sealed their heartwarming conversation with a kiss. Raven learned something. She learned that she is her own person, she submits to no one. She gave herself to Damian and him alone. No one could take that away.

"We are gonna miss class tho if we stay here much longer." Raven said with humour.

"True but we need to get that thing to the police or something." Damian said pointing to the unconscious Garfield.

They left him with a teacher who found them in that corridor after they explained the situation. They managed to get to their lesson and went home feeling great.

Raven once again gave herself to Damian that night, proving that he was the only one. Damian of course accepted and let her have him the same way.

Garfield was nowhere to be seen the next day and that was the first challenge out of the way. They knew there'd be more but they'd face them together.
