Makoto and Joey met up at the park. Just to talk and chill there for a while. They sat at the bench.
JOEY: I'm not gonna lie, Emily's kinda cute. Wish she wasn't so bitchy though. Rate the girls from 1 to 10.
Makoto was silent for a few seconds.
MAKOTO: I'm not going to rate anyone, I'm seeing Holly.
JOEY: That's true.
Makoto and Joey were on the phones. Until Makoto noticed something. There was a hooded figure behind some of the playground, staring at them. Makoto grabbed Joey by the shoulder, and pointed to the hooded figure.
MAKOTO: Joey, there's someone over there!
JOEY: Where?
Joey noticed too. They both ran like hell.
MAKOTO: What the hell was that?!?
JOEY: You think that couldve been the killer!?
MAKOTO: Call 911!
JOEY: Call your brother!
Makoto grabbed his phone, and called Yoshi. Just seconds later, and he answered.
YOSHI: Sup Mako-
MAKOTO: YOSHIMEANDMYFRIENDJOEYWERECHILLINFATTHEPARKANDWENOTICEDSOMEWEIRDHOODEDFIGUREWALKINGUSFROMTHRPARKANDNOWWERERUNNINGFROMOURLIVESWEHESDINGTOTHEPOLICESTATIONRIGHTNOW!!'
YOSHI: !!, on my way.
Yoshi got serious, and got ready to go within mere seconds. And drove to the park. Within just 30 seconds after the call ended, you could hear a siren. Yoshi found Makoto and Joey running. Yoshi pulled over right to where they were. He got out the car. Ran past Makoto and Joey towards the park.
JOEY: Now thinking about it. We haven't seen Jasper lately.
Yoshi had a Black Metal 9mm Pistol Gun on him. He quickly searched around every corner. No one was in sight. So he ran back to the car.
YOSHI: Get in.
JOEY: Don't gotta tell me twice.
Makoto and Joey hopped into the backseats. Yoshi drove back to the police station. Makoto and Joey were both scared out of their minds. Stuff happened. Joey's parents were called. Tsuga was called it was a chaotic evening. But the worse has yet to come...
Minutes later, Joey's parents have already picked him up. And Makoto and Yoshi were talking.
YOSHI: Makoto, I'm sorry to have to bring you into all this. There's a really good chance that person you saw could have been the murderer. But I didn't see him, or her, so I wouldn't know.
MAKOTO: The P.E. Teacher was killed about a week ago before school started. That really doesn't gice us a clue on who it is. It doesn't help us at all.
YOSHI: Actually, you're wrong.
MAKOTO: How?
YOSHI: If Mr. Wazoski was killed a week ago. That's when school was going on. The detective doesn't really like me much, he says I'm too cocky. But if we can figure out exactly what time Wazoski was killed, we could narrow down the number of suspects.
Yoshi giggled and smiled. Makoto stayed silent. Then Yoshi got serious.
YOSHI: I know times are hard right now. But we'll get through it. I promise, we'll find the killer. Take him down. And Sundeen will be back to normal.
Suddenly, a cop came outta nowhere. It was the same officer from Chapter 14, Officer Mike
MIKE: Captain Yoshi, we have a report of strange activity at the Cemetery.
YOSHI: Alright, I'll be there in a second.
Yoshi turned back to Makoto and smiled.
YOSHI: See ya kiddo.
Yoshi left the room, and jotted to his car.
