Chapter 27 - Reveal

Makoto flew all the way back in a field near the gate from the explosion, and was knocked out. He woke up shortly after to see cop cars everywhere. People were running and talking. He was confused, didn't know what was going on. Suddenly, he remembered, Yoshi.

Makoto got up and ran up to an officer. Frantic, he couldn't even speak. Makoto grabbed and pulled on the cop's arms. It was Vice Captain Lillias.

MAKOTO: What happened to Yoshi! Where is he!

The cops next to them looked away.

LILLIAS: ... Captain, is...

There was a silence...

MAKOTO: What! Where is my big brother!

LILLIAS: ...

MAKOTO: NonoNO!

Makoto ran back to the center. His mind was numb, nothing was going through his head. When Makoto got to the center, there was just a crater and stone. Lillias was behind him.

LILLIAS: Makoto...

MAKOTO: DON'T SAY IT! DON'T SAY ANYTHING!

LILLIAS: Makoto!

MAKOTO: What!

LILLIAS: ...Captain Yoshi is Dead.

Makoto stopped thinking. He never wanted this day to come, it was a nightmare in full form.

Makoto dropped to his knees, and started bawling out tears, he couldn't even breathe, think. Lillias stood right infront of him. Makoto cried for about five minutes, then got back up. Suddenly, he ran pasts Lillias towards the gate.

LILLIAS: Makoto!

Makoto ran past all the cars, all the officers, past the gate. He couldn't even process anything.

LILLIAS: Makoto!!

Makoto stood there, with a blank expression. It's as if he went AFK. Suddenly, someone bumped into again. Makoto fell to the ground.

SOMEONE: Sorry about that.

Two other people walked right behind him. Makoto got up. Lillias ran behind them with a few other cops. Makoto said with the most dead voice

MAKOTO: wait a second... stop.

The three stopped, and turned around.

LILLIAS: Who goes there?

Lillias and the cops put up their pistols, ready to shoot.

MAKOTO: I knew it... ... ...that's them.

LILLIAS: Who's what?

MAKOTO: That's the Killer.

The three people were running as if Makoto was correct. It really was them. Suddenly, the street lights around them all lit up. And they were revealed, on sight.

The three people, standing in front of everyone, were Mr. Richardson, Rosie Marchell, and Jacob Wynn.

It was silent. So many things went through everyones heads.

MAKOTO: It really is you, Mr. Richardson!

RICHARDSON: Makoto... didn't expect you to be the one to reveal me!

JACOB: Crap!

ROSIE: Just run.

LILLIAS: Shoot them!

Cops started shooting. Richardson turned around and the bullets hit him in the back. But no damage was taken.

RICHARDSON: This aint the last of me!

Suddenly, all the cops pistols were jammed. They were all confused. Richardson and the kids ran off.

LILLIAS: After them!

The cops chased them. Back to Makoto, he was staring at them all running off. Then, he collapsed.
