11:24 AM - 6 hours and 36 minutes until the Sundeen Fest.
Makoto and Murphy were in the church. They locked eyes.
MAKOTO: Ay- 't-
MURPHY: YOU!!
Murphy took out his rifle.
MURPHY: I'LL KILL YOU!
MAKOTO: WAIT!
Murphy shot the rifle, but due to there being so much rubble, he missed. Makoto ran through the front door. Murphy chased him out. Makoto ran to the side where the car was, and got in it.
MURPHY: WHERE DID YOU GO! COWARD!
Makoto started the car and put it in reverse. He drove out of the church, and put it in drive.
MAKOTO: You shouldn't call anyone a coward when you're the literal definition of a coward!
Murphy saw the car. It was facing right towards him.
MURPHY: Wait, don't do this. I'm the mayor!
MAKOTO: You're no mayor! You're a murderer!
Makoto rammed the car towards Murphy. He dodged, barely. The car went so fast it crashed into the school which was on the other side of the street. Makoto survived the crash, but the car was too damaged to go on. Makoto got out the car, and ran.
Murphy got back up. Although he couldn't find his rifle.
MURPHY: FUCK THE MASAMI FAMILY!
Holly and Logan had arrived to the Library. Joey noticed them immediately.
JOEY: Holly's back. And, ....... who?
HOLLY: This is Riley's son.
JOEY: WHAAAATT!
LOGAN: Wait wait, I'm not evil or anything!
JOEY: So this is the kid that came from Sundeen Killer's nuts....
LOGAN: .... Makoto had to deal with something, but he'll be back.
JOEY: I know he will, that's why I didn't ask.
HOLLY: ....
Holly and Logan walked upstairs. Half of the library shelves were empty and they were all on tables.
HOLLY: Have we progressed at all in anything?
JOEY: Lyla hasn't found out anything and she hasn't gotten any headaches lately.
LYLA: Dammit!
JOEY: What happened?
LYLA: You may have been right. Any books on Sundeen History have long been destroyed.
HOLLY: Wait! Makoto has a book. I don't know if it's important or not. But his grandma gave it to him.
JOEY: Makoto AND Lyla had headaches when looking at the stone. So maybe, that stone, and that ancient language, has something to do with the history of Sundeen!
There was a silence.
LYLA: Obviously....
Lyla kept searching through books. Joey walked closer to Holly and Logan. Logan took a step back.
JOEY: To be honest I'm just trying to impress her but it seems it's not working.
LOGAN: Wait, I know how I can be important. Logan pulled out his phone from his pocket.
HOLLY: You have a phone?!
JOEY: This kids like 12.
LOGAN: I'm 10. And I can find my dad with Find My Friends!
HOLLY: Where is he?
LOGAN: .... oh, no reception..
JOEY: Well fuck! Guess we're just gonna have to wait until Makoto gets here..... wait.... I'm dumb for not realizing this earlier.
Joey walked towards Lyla. He was going to shoot his shot.
