JOEY: I'm so sore.
MAKOTO: Well yeah, it exploded right in your face. You're lucky it didn't do anything fatal. Do you feel any glass?
JOEY: It was a plastic container dummy. Anyways, what class you got next?
MAKOTO: Alegbra with Mr. Smith in Room 206. Right across the hall.
JOEY: I got Social Studies. See ya.
MAKOTO: See ya.
Makoto and Joey walked onto their different classes. Makoto entered Room 206. And sat in a seat in the back. He glanced the class. Holly was here! Makoto waved to Holly and she waved back. But she was 3 tables down. Next to Makoto was a kid named Evan. Makoto remembers him from last year but didn't talk to him. So he tried to be friendly. Makoto did a little wave to Evan.
MAKOTO: Sup, you're names Evan, right?
EVAN: It's Makoto Masami!
MAKOTO: ?
Evan started doing a bunch of naruto hand signs.
EVAN: Makato Masami! You're Algebra IQ Power Level is 4025! Not bad on the first day. That's a B+ on the scale. You should feel proud.
MAKOTO: ...
Makoto started getting ready to pack his things and sit somewhere else.
EMILY: Hmph, Typical Makoto, always misguiding himself and judging people by their first impression.
MAKOTO: Hey Emily...
EMILY: Hey Makoto...
Emily awkwardly stared at Makoto. While Makoto was staring at Holly.
EMILY: My eyes are over here you moron.
Evan continued doing the naruto hand signs.
EVAN: Emily Moore! You're Algebra IQ Power Level is 3685! Not as good as Makoto's though. But that's a B- on the scale. Don't worry! You'll get there someday!
EMILY: ....
Emily was getting ready to pack her things and sit somewhere else.
MR. SMITH: Good morning class, hows everyone doing on the first day of Sophmore Year y'all excited?
Some classmates cheered, some didn't.
MR. SMITH: Well, since today is the first day. Imma have y'all chill in a moment. But first, I need everyone to join the Google Classroom. The classroom code is on the screen.
EMILY: Finally a normal teacher.
MAKOTO: More like finally a normal person.
Makoto noticed Holly again and started staring at her. Makoto started wondering what Holly was thinking about, the deeper Makoto got into it, the more he was feeling it. He starting wondering some, personal things about her and what she looks like, you know.
EVAN: Makoto, Makoto hey! Makoto!
Makoto was cut off.
MAKOTO: What?
EVAN: Do you wanna know what my Algebra IQ Power Level is?
MAKOTO: No.
EVAN: N- NANI!?
Evan started doing a bunch of naruto hand signs again.
MAKOTO: Can this class Please end? It's boring without Joey.
The bell rang. It was time for third period. English Class.
