Chapter 37 - Seige

6:32 PM

RILEY: I guess it's time to go.

Riley walked down the hall to his room. Opened the window, and crawled out and jumped onto the backyard.

The front door opened. Lillias and the cops raided the house. Ran through every room, bursted through every wall, screaming. Logan was terrified.

Riley jumped through backyards and ran through a street. He laughed to himself

RILEY: These cops suck at their job. But can't blame them. This village isn't open to the public. No one knows how to do anything.

Riley noticed a woman on the sidewalk looking at him. She dropped her purse and screamed.

WOMAN: It's the killer!!!!

RILEY: !!! You-

Riley ran towards the woman, but stopped. The woman screamed and ran away. He noticed a cop car behind him coming towards him. Riley jumped over fences and dipped. The car stopped to where Riley was. The cop who was driving it got out. It was Officer Mike. He could barely stand.

Mike tried to climb a gate, but was really weak. The woman was standing right infront of him. They stared at each other. Mike went back to his car and opened the door.

WOMAN: Wait.

Mike stopped.

MIKE: What is it?

WOMAN: Can I-

The woman blushed.

WOMAN: Can I have your number?

They stare at each other.

Meanwhile, the Richardson's house was getting torn up. It didn't take too long for Lillias to find the door to the attic. She reached her arm in. Logan started swinging his knife at her. Lillias reacts to to.

LILLIAS: !!...

LOGAN: Go away! You don't know! You don't knoe anything!

Logan started crying.

LOGAN: My dad is the killer, but that doesn't mean you get to arrest me! I didn't do anything wrong!

LILLIAS: .... Kid, we're not here to arrest you! We're just here to search your house.

Lillias looked away from the attic. The halls were messy. People were running and yelling everywhere. It was all one big room. There was even a rat running across the hall.

LILLIAS: .... 

Logan drops the knife, and grabs Lillias' hand. They climb down the attic ladder.

LILLIAS: Do you know where your mom is?

LOGAN: No I don't..... No I don't!!!

Meanwhile, Officer Mike and the woman exchanged numbers to each other.

MIKE STONE and SCARLETTE CONWAY

Mike opened the car door.

SCARLETTE: Wait a second...

MIKE: Scarlette, there is a killer on the loose...

Scarlette's face got all read.

SCARLETTE: Can I see you again?

MIKE: ..... Of course...

Lillias escorted Logan out of the house.

At the same time, Riley was running through yards and streets. Murphy pulled up his car and Riley got in. Murphy drove off.

MURPHY: I'm always saving you.

RILEY: My son knows, that I'm the killer.

MURPHY: You ran yourself into a corner.

RILEY: Heheheh, doesn't matter. Tomorrows the Sundeen Festival. I'll kill him, and Makoto Masami!
