After minutes of thinking about what Yoshi said minutes ago, Makoto got up and decided it was time to leave. Tsuga was alone in the waiting room, waiting for Makoto. Makoto and Tsuga saw each other, and got ready to leave.
MAKOTO: Wait a second.
Suddenly, Makoto ran through the halls, blindly searching for the Mayor.
TSUGA: Makoto! What are you doing?!
MAKOTO: I gotta go see the Mayor, I need to get his head together. He humiliated me yesterday, pretended as if a killer on the loose was fine, and even ordered for me to get arrested!
TSUGA: Makoto, stop! You don't understand. WE are not supposed to be here.
Makoto stopped in his tracks, confused.
MAKOTO: What?
TSUGA: The only reason why we are here right now, is because of Yoshi.
MAKOTO: ... what do you mean?
TSUGA: I'll explain when we get home. Come over here, now.
Makoto walked to his grandmother. And they both walked outside and got in the car. Makoto was so confused on what was even happening.
Meanwhile, Yoshi had just arrived to the cemetery. There was another cop car there too. The Cemetery gate was open, but it was really dark out. Yoshi pulled out a walkie talkie, and started talking.
YOSHI: Mike, James, where are you two?
MIKE: No sign of anything yet, but James claims he saw a shadow near the center. So we're there.
Yoshi slowly drove through the roads in the cemetery to get to the center. Suddenly, he found something weird. On the side of the road, was a book. Yoshi didn't think of anything out of the ordinary, so he picked the book up.
The book was extremely old. It had a bronze cover, with only one page. Yoshi opened to the page and there were very faint letters saying:
" r k n w l om t u t or ."
Yoshi was incredibly confused, but decided to keep it. Suddenly, he had a major headache.
YOSHI: Agh, not now.
Yoshi got back in the car and drove off.
Mike and James were at the center, with pistols out. Suddenly, Yoshi pulls up to them. Officer James let out a huge sigh.
MIKE: Captain Yoshi!
Yoshi gets out of the car.
YOSHI: Any progress made?
MIKE: No sir, infact, we're not even 100% sure if theres anyone here in the first place.
Suddenly, there was a loud scream in the background. Yoshi, Mike, and James all ran. Obviously Yoshi was the fastest one. About a minute later, the three got to where the scream was.
MIKE: Hands up!!!
It was a dirty, raggedy, messy man, digging up a grave with a shovel.
JAMES: What's a homeless man doing here?
The homeless man dropped the shovel, put his hands up and was shaking. He couldn't even stand right.
BEGGAR: Pl- please!! Don't- don't hurt me! I'm a hostage, I- I feared for my life!! Please!
YOSHI: Sir, who forced you to take this action.
BEGGAR: I can't say!
The three cops were confused.
BEGGAR: I'm sorry, I can't say their name or they'll kill me. Please help me!
Suddenly, Yoshi's phone went off. It was Tsuga. Yoshi walked away and answered.
YOSHI: Grandma, I can't right now.
TSUGA: Makoto asked me...
YOSHI: Makoto asked you what?
TSUGA: He asked to learn about our family history.
Yoshi was silent for a few seconds.
YOSHI: Grandma, I can't talk right now, but right now, I think I can catch up to the killer. I think he's HERE, at the cemetery. Gotta go. See ya.
Makoto overheard the entire conversation from upstairs. Yoshi hung up phone.
MAKOTO: The killer! I gotta go!
Makoto ran out the house within a second, freaking out.
TSUGA: Makoto come back!
It was already too late for Makoto to come back. Makoto started running to the Cemetery.
