Chapter 47 - September 3 (Part 7)

11:02 AM - 6 hours and 58 minutes until the Sundeen Fest.

Dominic was at the church, across from the high school. He opened the front door and walked in. Someone was standing across the front room from him. It was Jacob.

JACOB: Finally, you took long enough.

DOMINIC: What do you want to talk about?

Jacob laughed, then pulled out a lighter and a pack of cigarettes. Lit the cigarette, and smoked it.

JACOB: Help me kill Tyrone.

DOMINIC: ..?!!

JACOB: He sold us at the Cemetery. If it weren't for him. We wouldn't have been caught.

DOMINIC: Leave me outta all that mess.

JACOB: Bro seriously. Tyrone's a bum. And Rosie is too.

DOMINIC: Hm.

JACOB: Don't be fucking lame.

DOMINIC: Fine. Let's go.

JACOB: I knew you were still cool.

Meanwhile, Riley was in the cemetery. He was enjoying himself.

RILEY: Makoto, to think he would go so far. Hahaha.

Riley walked to the center. Around the area where he killed Yoshi. He smiled and laughed.

RILEY: Yoshino Masami. You were one of my students that I taught. You were one of my top students. Never expected things to end like this.

MIKE: You never expected this!

Suddenly, a couple of cops came from behind gravestones and shot Riley, over and over. Bang, bang.

Officer Mike ran up to Riley yelling and stabbed him with a knife. Mike stepped back, and looked at Riley. Riley was unphased. Not a single stratch on him. Mike shot Riley multiple times. Not a single scratch.

MIKE: H- how?!

Riley laughed. He unziped his jacket. There were metal pads between him and his clothes. Bullets or knifes won't phase him.

RILEY: There's six of you. And one of me.

Riley laughed.

MIKE: Shut Up!

The cops ran towards Riley. Riley held up his fists.

In the town center, cops were still searching for Murphy. Lillias was in there.

OFFICER: Where is he?

OFFICER: It's only 11:04! He couldn't have gone far!

LILLIAS: Tch... we were played, being toyed with, like puppets.

Suddenly, Lillias noticed someone. They were on a telephone making call. It was Logan.

LILLIAS: ...!! It's you!

LOGAN: Stay back!

LILLIAS: A— You're going to stay here!

Logan dialed the library. Someone answered. It was Makoto.

LOGAN: Who is this?

MAKOTO: I-

LOGAN: Makoto! You're the one who made the announcement! You're so cool!

LILLIAS: Makoto, lemme talk to him.

Lillias took the phone.

LILLIAS: Makoto, I'm not allowing Logan to go out anymore. Either you gotta take him or he stays.

MAKOTO: Then I'll head there.
