Chapter 30 - Kishi and Okada

TSUGA: 49 years ago, your father, Kishi Masami was born here. Can't say much, but he and the mayor grew up together since Kindergarten, they were best friends for 8 years. Until high school came.

Makoto was listening.

The year was 1989. Sundeen Village had a lot less technology and very different trends back then. At the time, Kishi Masami, and Murphy Bristol were best friends and Seniors of Sundeen High. It was the last period of school for the day. Everythimg was going good until.

BRISTOL: Kishi, I heard Selena and Wayne might be dating now!

KISHI: Oh snap! Where did you get that information from?

BRISTOL: Word! It gets around here quick!

TEACHER: Class, I know this is sudden but I have an announcement to make. We will have a new student in this class. Okada Umuri, say hello to class.

OKADA: Hello!

Just by that one phrase. Kishi and Murphy fell in love, within the blink of a heart beat.

Days went by, everyone was chill, until.

KISHI: Okada, it's getting late, you want me to take you home.

Okada smiled.

OKADA: Sure!

Ever since Okada joined Sundeen High, Kishi had became very distant from Murphy. And they both liked Okada. Murphy became very jealous and stopped talking to Kishi. Sometime has gone by, it was the day of the Sundeen Fest. It's a festival that takes place at night where everyone in Sundeen honors the day Sundeen was created.

At the Sundeen Fest, Kishi and Okada were hanging out with 4 others, Murphy being one of them. They were chilling there, then Kishi asked Okada to be alone for a second. He took her to the side of a building, hugged her, and asked her out. She said yes.

Kishi and Okada dating was all people were talking about. Murphy was extremely jealous and so angry. He wanted to fight Kishi.

Things didn't go well that day. The day Kishi and Murphy fought for Okada. Kishi physically won the fight. But mentally, no one did.

Murphy never showed up to school after that or anywhere. It's like he ran away... or even worse, Suicide.

12 years later, Kishi and Okada get married. 4 years later, Okada gave birth to Yoshi Masami. 2 years later, Okada gave birth to Makoto Masami. It was a peaceful life in Sundeen.

Until one day, February 8, 2006. Murphy returned as Mayor, reunited with Kishi and Okada, and shot Okada. But the incident was covered up as it was an accident.

Ever since Okada was killed, Kishi left Yoshi and Makoto to Tsuga. Then he went into hiding, and was never heard of from again.

Present Time, Tsuga told Makoto the entire story. Makoto was left there, blank, empty.

TSUGA: Ever since that day, this family has been empty. And I've never heard from your father again.

MAKOTO: ... So when you said the only reason why we're here is because of Yoshi. That's what you meant. The mayor forced Yoshi to serve under him.

Makoto got angry, and had the coldest eyes.

MAKOTO: I'm gonna kill the mayor.

TSUGA: Wait, Makoto.

Suddenly, someone knocked on the door. Tsuga opened the door. It was the hooded figure.

MAKOTO: Grandma!

TSUGA: ...!!!!! It can't be!

HOODED FIGURE: ........

TSUGA: KISHI!
