Captain Yoshi and Killer gave each other a long stare. Behind, Yoshi, was Vice Captain Lillias and other cops, being tended to. Behind Killer, were the two helpers and Officer Mike unconscious on the ground.
LILLIAS: Captain...
KILLER: I'd prefer if we do this alone. One on one.
YOSHI: Shut the hell up.
HELPER 2: Bum.
YOSHI: Ugh, fine. Everyone, get outta here.
LILLIAS: Captain! You called us here!
YOSHI: I know. But this guy is mine.
KILLER: Well, helpers. Get outta here.
HELPER 3: Ugh, fine... let's go.
Everyone left the scene, it was just Yoshi, the Killer, and Mike on the ground. Yoshi walked up to Mike's body, pulled out the old book he found, wrote a note, and put it in his pocket.
Makoto was in the same car as Lillias and a medic.
MAKOTO: What the hell, you guys actually left Yoshi like that!
LILLIAS: Kid, we didn't have a choice.
MAKOTO: What makes you think this wasn't part of a big plan. To ambush Yoshi? This is all some sort of setup.
Makoto opened the car door while it was moving. The car stopped, and Makoto ran off.
LILLIAS: Makoto! Come back!
LILLIAS: ...
Meanwhile, back at the center. Yoshi pulled out a loaded 9mm pistol. Killer dropped his knife, and bawled up his fists.
YOSHI: What?
KILLER: I know you got a gold trophy in the 25th Annual Boxing Tournament. You like to fight. Yoshi Masami.
YOSHI: ... My men never said my name infront of you. How do you know me?
Yoshi put the 9mm away, and bawled up his fists.
KILLER: Because, hahaha, you're so manipulative, this is whats gonna get you killed! I know you!
Yoshi ran up to the killer with his fists up, Yoshi threw some punches, the Killer dodged all of them. Yoshi high kicked to Killer's neck. Killer grabbed Yoshi's leg and broke his ankle. Yoshi fell.
KILLER: You're so weak. I don't know how you managed to get the rank of Captain. You're only seventeen. Turning eighteen in like two weeks from now. The police in this village is trash. If you're the captain, and you couldn't even phase me in a fight. Imagine how your little "men" would do.
YOSHI: How- do you know that?
Neither Yoshi nor Killer realized, but Officer Mike woke up. But he didn't notice them either, he could barely see, and couldn't hear at all.
KILLER: This fight is already over. I'm disappointed in you.
Infront of the center, Makoto was running and he saw Mike, slowly walking back. Makoto ran up to Mike.
MAKOTO: Where is Yoshi Dammit!!
Mike was unable to speak. He barely even recognized Makoto. Makoto ran off.
Killer pulled out a grenade, and dropped it. Yoshi noticed it immediately, but instantly new that wasn't a mass grenade. It would only create small explosions.
KILLER: You're gonna die here.
Suddenly, Yoshi ran up and shot Killer right on the chest. They both collapsed.
YOSHI: If I'm going out, I'm taking you with me. Yoshi grabbed onto the killer.
KILLER: HAHA!! YOU FOOL, You expect I didn't plan for this?
Killer pulled out a hatchet from his pocket. And threw it at Yoshi. It stabbed him in the chest.
YOSHI: Tch!
KILLER: This is the best you can give! You're pitiful! I'm leaving.
YOSHI: Wait...
Out of the corner of Yoshi's eye. He. Saw. Makoto. With the blankest expression.
YOSHI: Makoto!
MAKOTO: Yoshi!
Suddenly, the grenade went off. There was an explosion in the center of Sundeen Cemetery, and it flew Makoto back.
