Chapter 34 - Assemblage

5:24 PM

Makoto and Holly crossed the street and were in the Southern part of Sundeen. They continue running. A few minutes later. They see two people down the sidewalk from them. It was Joey and Ferguss.

FERGUSS: Bro I don't know if Jasmin likes me or not.

JOEY: Just keep talking with her.

FERGUSS: Yoo, you going to the Sundeen Fest tomorrow?

JOEY: I could ask Lyla to go, and Makoto could bring Holly.

FERGUSS: You and Lyla? Wow, haha. I mean I wasn't in your group during the field trip so.

Joey and Ferguss saw Makoto and Holly across the sidewalk.
Makoto and Holly saw Joey and Ferguss across the sidewalk.

FERGUSS: Is that Makoto, whos that with him, is that Holly?? Ayoo, I think we walked in on the wrong time.

Joey made a huge grin on his face.

JOEY: Let's go the other way.

MAKOTO: Joey! Come here!

Makoto was waving to Joey.

JOEY: Is he waving over to me?

FERGUSS: Y'all gonna have a threesome? Aye, ask him if a fourth party can join.

Ferguss smirked. Joey and Ferguss walked over to Makoto and Holly.

JOEY: Yo-ho-ho...

MAKOTO: It's not easy to explain but Ms. Duncan could be in danger right now.

FERGUSS: Ms. Duncan in danger??

MAKOTO: She said on a voice message that Mr. Richardson might have found where she lived.

JOEY: Oh yeah...

HOLLY: Our social studies teacher was a killer all along...

There was a silence. Holly pointed down the street.

HOLLY: Ms. Duncan's house is the yellow one over there!

The four ran to the direction that Holly pointed to.

Meanwhile, at Ms. Duncan's house, she's in her room pacing back and forth. The smartest thing to do would be to drive to the town center, but she was scared out of her mind.

Suddenly, the doorbell rang. Ms. Duncan opened it to see who it was. It was Mr. Richardson.

MS. DUNCAN: Riley....

Ms. Duncan (first name Susan) was shaking.

Mr. Richardson walked into the house towards Ms. Duncan, she was screaming. The door closed.

The four students ran as fast as they could, not knowing if they would make it in time. They got up to Ms. Duncan's house. They heard screaming inside. The front door was locked.

FERGUSS: Uh, try bashing in a window!

JOEY: Two on one side, two on the other.

MAKOTO: Splitting up is a terrible idea!

Everyone ran to the side of the house. There was no windows. There was a fence to get into the backyard.
Joey climbed over it, and Makoto climbed right after him.

Makoto and Joey were the first two to get in the backyard. Joey tried opening the back door, the door was locked. There was a screen door so he couldn't try and break it.

MAKOTO: Open it!

JOEY: It's a screen door I can't!

They heard screaming from inside. Ferguss and Holly ran up to Makoto and Joey.

HOLLY: Is Mr. Richardson in there?!
