Prologue

I want to run, I want to hide
From all the pain he caused inside.

Why can't I tell him goodbye?

I want to move on; I just can't let go.
I love him more than he will ever know.

He hurt me bad; the pain is deep
From all the promises he couldn't keep.
All the lies I heard him say
Are in my head and just won't fade.

How can I forget him, leave him behind?
Erase the memories from my mind?
He doesn't love me, and he never will.
He will never care how I feel.

Prologue

I went inside the office I could see my boss sitting on his swivel chair with his hand propped on the armrest , putting two fingers on his temple as he looked at my direction.

"Sit" He motioned me to sit as he sat straight with his elbow propped on the desk as he clasped his hand.

I nodded as I made my way towards the chair, sitting on it.

"Do you know why I called you?" He asked

"No Sir" I replied

"Have you heard of Bonten?" He asked then I nodded "Yes, they're the dangerous criminal organization"

"Their crimes are getting worse and worse, The other day one of the officers found a dead body inside an abandoned warehouse" He slid a picture in front of me as I looked at the dead body that was brutally killed, and worms were already crawling out of his eyes.

It looked like it's been days since he was killed

"And today one of our officers found another dead bodies, two to be exact" He slid another picture and I studied the picture and the two was shot in the head not just one time, if I look at it, it would be six or seven times. Their faces was unrecognizable.

"We can't tolerate this, we must end their crimes" My boss cleared his throat as he looked at me

"I want you to end their crimes as the only trusted and skilled Agent that I know." His lips curved upwards

"I trust you with this job Agent (Y/n) or should I say Agent 07" I stood up straight as I saluted "Sir yes Sir!"

I slammed my car door shut as I made my way towards my apartment. Once I opened the door and saw my messy apartment that was full of sticky notes everywhere, there were some on the refrigerator and some were on the doors it was messy as hell, I sighed as I put a finger of my temple as I massaged it closing my eyes.

But since they're important I can't take them off. I just went inside as I slammed the door close, I went straight into my room as I threw my bag on the bed then I walked straight to a board where there were lots of pictures and strings that were connected to some pins.

"Hmm..." I turned to my table as I rummaged through the drawers and found some pins and more strings. I grabbed my bag as I opened it, pulling an envelope up scattering them on the table as I hastily looked for the picture.

"This is Manjiro Sano known as Mikey Bonten's leader" I mumbled as I grabbed the picture carefully as pinned it on the messy board then I took a step back as I eyed the picture.

"I'm sure he's a cold and tough one" I mumbled turning my attention back to the table as I walked towards it pulling another picture. "And this one is Sanzu Haruchiyo Bonten's number two and the loyal mad dog, who treats Mikey like a king" 

How did I even know this?  two pawns from Bonten were caught last week, and I was assigned to interrogate them but then they kept silent so I use another method which was a bit harsh just to make them talk, so that's why I got every information that I needed. Now back to the pictures

I pin him under Mikey's picture then I grabbed another picture "This one's Kakucho Hitto Bonten's number three" I pinned him on the board next to Sanzu and then I walked towards the table grabbing another picture

"The advisor, Takeomi Akashi" I mumbled making my way towards the board pinning him next to Sanzu "He's also Sanzu's brother and one of his sister known as Senju Kawaragi died because of an incident" 

"And this one is Kanji Mochizuki Bonten's Executive" I pinned his picture under Akashi and then I grabbed another picture "This one's Kokonoi Hajime Bonten's Executive" I pinned him next to Mochizuki, then I grabbed the last two pictures as I pinned one picture next to Kokonoi's "This one's Rindou Haitani one of Bonten's executive and the last one.." My eyes fell on the picture

"Ran Haitani" The corner of my lips curved into a smirk as I stare at his picture "How has he been?" I snickered as I pin his picture on the board next to his brother Rindou.

"Can't wait to meet you Ran" I turn my heels as I pull my necktie then I unbuttoned my uniform as I dropped it to the floor along with the necktie then I unbuttoned my pants throwing them on the floor as I made my way to the bathroom.

I started the shower feeling the cold drop of water on my skin, shivering from the sudden touch. I raised my head up, closing my eyes feeling the cold water as it made contact with my face, letting out a sigh of relief.

I don't know why but I'm nervous, mad and excited at the same time.
