Chapter 14: Help

After feeding the bird you looked at its wings that was now fully recovered.

You looked at the bird as you gently pet its hair.

"I miss my sweet Mini" You breathed then you looked at the bird with a smile now forming on your lips.

"I wish I could introduce you to her but I can't" You lowly mumbled as you took the bird in your palm then you walked towards the balcony.

You looked at the view then back on the bird. "You can fly now." You smiled then you threw the bird up with both your hand.

It flapped it's wings as it began to fly away from you.

The door from your room opened making you turn your head to look behind you to see Rindo.

"It's time for breakfast." He informed.

The three of you sat on the chair silently as you ate your breakfast.

"(Y/n)" Ran called you making you turn to look at him.

"Yeah?" You asked.

"Want to go with us today?" He asked. You raised a brow as you looked at him. He understood that you were confused as he continued.

"We noticed that you've been inside this house and Mikey was okay for you to come out but- you need to be with us and never stay out from our sight. If you try and-"

"I understand." You cut him off with a smile.

"Then I'll go and prepare." You said as you stood up then you leaned forward to him, wiping the corner of his lips that had a sauce on with your thumb.

He was caught off guard by your sudden action, he lifted the napkin up about to wipe your thumb but was stunned when he saw that you only licked the sauce off your thumb.

"You still eat like a kid Mr. Haitani." You giggled before walking out of the kitchen leaving Rindo and Ran who was still stunned by what you did.

His heart was going crazy as he looked at his food.

"I'll be waiting in the car." Rindo said as he stood up putting the napkin on the table before going out of the kitchen.

When you arrived inside the bar, everyone turned to your direction. Some recognized who you were as they looked at you with their eyes wide.

"She's the missing person from the television!" One exclaimed as the man pointed at you.

"Cover your eyes." Ran said as he turned to you.

"Why?" You asked.

"Just close your eyes and cover your ears." You did what he told you to then after a quick second a loud 'BANG' was heard then Ran pulled your wrist as you followed him.

"Clean the body up." Ran ordered. Everyone inside the bar gasped as they understood what the message was.

"We'll be having a meeting inside. You're staying here. Don't you ever dare escape, our men are watching you." He said as he made you sit on the seat.

You said nothing as he began to walk away then you turned to the bartender.

"Can I get a glass of wine please?" You asked which immediately served. You plopped your elbow on top of the counter then you looked at the glass that was filled with wine.

You lifted the glass up then you swirled the glass.

You took a sip of the wine then you looked around the bar to see, Women who were almost naked, well- some were already naked. Dancing on the stage and some were grinding on the pole.

You had a look of disgust when you saw lust in the men's eyes who were watching.

The loud booming music and noises and people who were partying like crazy inside was enough to irritate you.

"This is boring" You sighed then you sipped your wine.

While you were ordering another glass of wine. A hand snaked on your waist making you turn to the man.

"Baby, You look so lonely." The corner of your lips lifted up as you grabbed the glass swirling it around then you looked at the man.

He had a handsome face but you found him annoying than Sanzu.

"Could you please remove your hands off my waist." You kindly asked.

"Oh- Sorry" His smile didn't disappeared as he removed his hands off your waist.

You took a sip of the wine then you gently laid it on the counter with a light thud.

"What's your name woman?" He asked. You eyed him for a minute then you turned to look at the glass that was on the counter.

You lifted the glass up then you took another sip from the glass.

"Did you hear me?" He asked. You side eyed him then you smiled.

"I'm sorry, what were you asking?" You asked.

"Can you tell me your name?" He asked. You swirled the glass as you replied with a kind voice.

"No"

You drank the wine up then you gently put it on the table as you stood from the stool getting annoyed at the man.

You were about to walk away when he pulled your hand back then he snaked his hands on your waist

"Wanna dance with me?" He asked.

As the two of you were talking. Ran stood at the far distance from you.

He saw how the man snaked his hands on your waist and how he was looking at you seductively. It was getting on his nerves.

"It's just a little dance?" The man persuaded.

"No, thank you." You firmly said faking a smile. "And please take your dirty hands off me." You firmly pushed his hands off your waist then you turned your back on him only to see Ran on the distance.

"Isn't that rude." The man pulled your hand but when he saw Ran on the distance he froze with his hands on yours.

Ran looked to the side as he heaved a sigh then he walked towards your direction.

He stopped in front of you then he pulled you behind him.

"Ran-" You were cut off by a loud

*BANG*

You flinched as you looked at the body the plopped on the floor. Blood oozed out from his head as you stood in shock.

You admit, you were annoyed by the man but killing him was a bit too far.

"Clean that body up." Ran commanded then two men came forward as they cleaned the dead body.

"H-How could you... Kill someone without any remorse..?" You asked, your breath was shaky as you looked at Ran's cold purple eyes.

"He was annoying you right? I-" before he could continue, you slapped him right across the cheeks as you glared at him.

"Have you got no shred of humanity in your heart?!" You yell.

"I was just helping you!" He said, raising his tone as he glared at you. A red mark was on his cheeks due to how hard you slapped him.

"I don't need any help coming from you Ran." You said as you walked pass him.
