Chapter 41: Mina Akutagawa

"How many times do I have to tell you Mina?!!" Anna yells at the child who shrunk back in fear, averting her gaze.

"S-Sorry." She stuttered.

'Everyday, My sister would yell at me if I made a small mistake. I would only shrink back in fear and say'

"Sorry."

'When we don't have money to buy food she would take me to the bar and-'

"Do anything you want with her. She'll eventually learn." Anna said as she pushed the child forward. Mina looked behind her to look at her sister hoping she would pull her back and change her mind but Anna just walked away.

"Isn't she too young? You're sister wo-"

"Sister?" She stopped in her tracks as she looked at the young girl then she scoffed. "I don't have any sister." She added.

'Everyday, men would use my body but there was nothing I could do because I was scared of my sister.'

'One Day, a man came to her. It was a tall brown haired man. He had some feelings for my sister but my sister didn't seem to return it.'

'He was always the one my sister could run into. She would ask him some evil advices on how to kill someone.'

'When my sister died, He came to me threatening me that if I don't kill Agent 07 then he'll have my head.'

'I was scared to die in his hands. I followed his orders because I was scared. '

'I tried seeking for help but no one was there.'

"From now on you'll be Katherine Hasegawa." The man said.

'I completely pushed away my identity to live on as Katherine for my own sake. I pushed it away because of fear.'

'A beautiful day to die.' She was about to close her eyes when she saw you falling with her.

When you were near her, you grabbed her hand then you pulled her figure close as you placed your hand around her waist then your other hand pulled something out from behind you.

You pulled your harpoon gun as you shot it on a wall. It spread as it got stuck on the wall stopping the both of you from falling.

"W-Why?" She lowly asked.

"Hold tight." You said as you looked into her hazel ones then you turned to the glass that was under your feet.

You pushed yourself, hugging Katherine's figure protectively as your body slammed on the window shattering it down as you rolled on the floor with Katherine in your arms.

She coughed then she looked up at your face that was bleeding on the side. Blood ran from your head down to your temples to your cheeks.

"Why did you?-" She asked as tears began to fall from her eyes down to the side of her eyes.

"I told you didn't I? I like you so I won't allow you to die." You slowly sat beside her as you took your handkerchief from behind your pocket wiping your bleeding head.

"Taking your own life isn't the answer. You thought you would find peace once you die but you won't." You slowly stood up then you threw the handkerchief that was full of blood on the floor.
