I spent the rest of the day training. We mostly trained my jabs and my kicks. Toon Link said they need a lot of work, which is another way of saying I kinda suck, in a respectable way. Minutes became hours, and before we knew it, the day was almost over. We packed up and prepared to leave.

"Good job today!" He said. "You already have huge improvements from this morning, you are a fast learner!"

"Thanks," I said back. "You are a great coach!"

"By the way...Do you want to go to dinner with me?"

"Dinner?" I asked. "O-Of course...But what about Ness..."

"Don't worry about him, he's fine by himself."

"Oh well..."

The sky was dark, but the city was illuminated by light. After a brief walk, we arrived at the edge of the city. Toon Link said there's a great ramen shop there, and that each bowl of noodles sold there would make you want another.

"I'm already hungry just thinkin about it." He said. "This way!"

After turning into a corner, I spotted the restaurant, it was small and modern looking. We entered the building and sat down at the table. Conveniently, Link and Zelda were next to us. Link shot a friendly smile and waved at me, I waved back and walked over to their table.

"Hey Villager!" Link said. "How has training been?"

"Tiring..." I said. I wasn't lying, it really exhausted me today.

"You'll get used to it." Link said. "Oh, by the way, this is Zelda."

I said hi to her, and she returned the greeting. All was pleasant and smooth, until I noticed Toon Link's increasing annoyance from afar. I remember Link expressing vocally about how rocky his relationship was with his fellow hero.

"Alright Villa, come back, you need to order your food now." He called to me. "Oh yeah, Link, having fun sucking your anime-swordfightin roomates off?" He said, presumably to Link. "You choke matches like the way you choke on those wood."

"Damn Link, are you really gonna let little winds diss you like that?" Zelda smirked.

"Yeah...Actually..." Link said, "I'm done trying to reason with him...I've reached my wit's end trying to beat him in an argument."

"You should consult Samus..." She said, "She argues better than Wright."

"Well, I'll see you around Villager." Link says, ignoring TL's taunt. "You can go back to your...Friend now..."

I waved goodbye and returned to my table.

"What was that about?" I asked.

"Oh haha, it's a...joke amongst the community," TL said. "You'll get it eventually."

"Why are you so mean to him...He's nice..." I said to him, and he raised an eyebrow. I didn't anger him? Did I?

"He was rude to us first." He explained. "I'm just returning the favor, he and his gang of retarded swordies, are bastards, to Ness and I."

"Why?" I asked.

"Things...I think it was because us two single-handedly fricked their entire Baseball team. They were trash." Toon Link said while smirking.

"Hey boys, can I take you two's orders now?"

"Oh yeah!" TL said. "Two Triforce specials, one with extra Jalapeños."

"Alright! Coming right up!"

...

"I'm guessing the "Triforce special" is good?" I asked.

"You gotta try it for yourself. It tastes like heaven."

"Really? That good?"

"Oh yeah."

...

"Oh and also, can I ask, why did you give me a nickname?"

"Oh, um, it just kinda works, ya know. Did nobody call you that before?"

"Nope, you are the first one."

"Are you uncomfortable with me calling you that? I...just thought it sounded good."

"Not at all! I think it sounds great!"

"Oh swell." Link said. "So can I call you that now?"

"Umm, sure, I don't see why not."

"Ok...Villa." Link said. "Damn that feels more right, it just makes a little more sense, then, ya know, Villager. WAIT! I'm not saying it's a bad name, I mean-"

"Alright, Link I get it. You don't have to baby me so much. You can criticize me normally without having to worry about me crying. I promise I'm not a crybaby, I know I look like one."

"Boys~~The two Triforce specials? Who ordered extra jalapeños?"

...

After a wonderful and fulfilling dinner, we started our lengthy 40-minute walk back home, which I didn't mind. I had so much energy from eating, that I could run a marathon right now if I wanted to.

We made it back to the mansion, and I was ready for sleep. After ramming into the front hall like a headless fruitfly, we met Ness, who ignored us entirely, and went back to his room.

"He...Looks angry." I said. "Is he mad because you kinda abandoned him?"

"He's fine," TL said. "Don't worry about it. Go have a good night's sleep, we have even more things to do tomorrow."

"I understand," I said. "Toon Link..."

"Yes?"

"Thank you for today."

"It's no biggie, you did all the work after all."

"I won't let you down. I promise."

"...You already made me proud."

I smiled at him, he smiled back.

"Good night, master Link."

"..."

"..."

"Alright, I was not prepared for the master part-"

"Oh, sorry. Do you prefer Sensei?"

"Nope, you are fine. Good night, Villa."

"Nite."
