Hey all. Just want to say that updates might come a little slower for the rest of next week. I usually update every other day due to how short the chapters are. But perhaps that will become three days for the rest of next week, maybe not, not sure yet but just throwing that out there. (Also wish me luck for a school-organized smash tournament next Thursday. I gotta somehow make it past the crowd and into my seat without getting jumped for one tricking Ness)lata (*/ω\*)
The foul gulls of the sea came by and by, soaring above the sapphire sea, their ugly cries, and their devious nature. As much as they wanted to linger on the beach, home is what they seek. Located beyond the horizons, beyond the ball of fire.
The beach was nearly silent, the lack of daylight drove many away. However, two outliers decided to stay.
There were two figures, two friends, who were on sitting on the edge of the sandy shore. As the sun began to set, the water came up, tickling their toes.
One figure is holding the other's hand, he was a fair boy with a head of messy golden hair. The other was a smaller boy with a neat milk chocolate-covered bowl cut.
The sands shifted under the winds, as the gentle breeze brushed through the shorter's smooth brown hair. The blond smiled at his partner, who had specs of sand on his face.
Love. That's what's left on the beach, nothing else.
The blond boy picked his other hand up and cupped his partner's cheeks, which noticeably crimsoned. The fair boy brushed his hand over the smaller boy's hair, all the way until he reached the boy's lips.
"You, are mine."
...
"Hey..." Someone whispered above me. "Wake up."
Huh? I slowly regained consciousness. I was holding a pillow tight in my arms, sweat and moisture covered my skin. Where's the fair boy? Where's the loved engulfed sunset? Where's Wally? (I really wanted to make that joke)
"Mornin Villa..."
"Good...Morning?" I sat my neck up, my room was still dark, there was no light, how could this be the morning? The only thing that I noticed using my still asleep eyes, was Toon Link, who was sitting on the edge of my bed, he was in a white t-shirt and shorts. Well, I've found the fair boy in my dreams, he was in the flesh.
"Wait a second..."
I shifted my body to the counter beside my bed and switched on my alarm clock, it was...
"5:30"
I had to make my brain process that information, I had to make sure that it was, in fact, AM, and not PM.
"A bit early today." He said while shifting closer to me, his voice was really low, and not over the roof, which was uncommon. "Oh come on, you are an early bird, wakey wakey..."
"It's 5 in the morning! Early birds don't wake up at 5!" I whined. "...What do you want?"
...
"...Alright, so I had something in the back of my mind for the past few days. Remember how you told me that you wanted to surf?" He asked me while practically looking down at me from above.
"...Surf?...Surf! Yeah, you still remember me telling you..."
"Yeah, so I was thinking, that we can go out on the shore for a couple of runs today, so I can show you the basics. If you want to obviously."
