Bad news is that this chapter is short. Good news is that I'm done finals and my competition season is over, therefore I have more time to write (yaeyys). In conclusion, you shouldn't be pissed that you waited a week for meager amounts of yaoi, instead, you should believe that I WILL ACTUALLY START WRITING NOW- (I fucking pinky promise you guys) (I know my promises mean absolutely nothing but please believe me) (in fact, my promises mean so little, that I remember saying the exact same thing like 6 months ago lol)

The sage shook my hands one last time, as I was preparing my departure. Even at moments where emotions break, cries sound, Link still kept humor up in the air, despite him being teary.

"I personally didn't remember this place being this hot, take care of this place, global warming is scary you know-"

"I'll keep in mind," the Rito said, while wiping away her tears, "you have no idea how much I'm gonna miss you."

"You can call me...Use the little phone thing that I gave you-"

"I'm extremely hesitant to use sheika technology, you know-"

"Make an exception for me," Link said.

"Of course..." she smiled, "...stay safe Rinku, always look upon the horizon...the brightness is always there, and when it's not, know that I will be praying for you."

"And to you as well, Medli..." he wiped his eyes as he reached for a final embrace, "farewell, sage of the earth."

"Farewell, hero." She pushed away, drifting the ship, separating land and sea.

Eyes and beaks, all around my sight, waving and shouting to us as Link conducted with the silver baton, up, left, right.

A gust of wind crashed into my vision as the sail flew open. After the initial gust died down, I reopened my eyes, to find the island next to me seconds ago laying like a stray sesame seed in a vast field of endless blue.

I turned around, his head was in his hands. Once in a while, a small drop would flow down, and drop from his chin.

After some forty some seconds of silence, he took his hands off his face and faced me, expression as smug as ever.

"Yo."

"Hey...I hope you are alright...I mean...."

"I'm fine," he said, "Just a little bit...sad."

"Don't mind me Toonie, you can cry all you want...I know how emotional you feel right now."

"Im alright," he laughed, "I'll just...call her later...let's...talk about some other things."

"Are you sure?"

"Yeah! I still have one trick up my sleeve that I didn't show you yet."

"What?" I asked, "trick?"

"Watch this," he picked up his Windwaker and brandished it in an unfamiliar pattern, smirking a little bit in the process.

"Why do I feel like you are gonna summon a kraken or something?"

"Nonononono," he kept his smirk, "alright, now Villa, I want you to say 'yes' in your head."

"W h a t ?"

"You heard me," he said, "trust me, I won't hurt you."

"Alright, I mean, I trust you, but, why does this feels like giving administrator access to a Trojan virus-"

His smirk split open into laughter, but he quickly contained himself.

I silently whispered 'yes' to myself, and suddenly, my world went black.

I felt as if my soul left my body, which, ya know, is exactly what happened.

Before I could react, I reawakened in a state that almost felt third-person. Not that my senses were clear, but I remember seeing...well, me...moving around and making motions...while...definitely not being controlled by me.

The next time I blinked, I was back in my body. My arms were covered in cold sweat and my lips dry as construction paper. It didn't take a genius to know what had happened.

"YOU CAN CONTROL PEOPLE?"

"Well, Yeah, but not really." He said, "I kinda need people's permission to do it, so it's basically useless."

"So if you somehow trick me into saying 'yes' to myself...You can control me?"

"...Not really...I think the target has to be willing...or at least not not-willing...plus I can't use it for...purposes considered vile...The mind controlling sounds better on paper than it actually is."

"What is it called."

"I don't know if it has a name, but I called it: Command Melody."

"That's...cool...really cool," I said, "but who have you actually used this on?

"You, Medli, and some statue in a puzzle..." he shrugged, "I told you...it kinda sucks."

"I don't care if it sucks, I think it's really cool," I smiled, "why didn't you show it to me earlier?"

"This was supposed to be the coolest one...I wanted to save this one separately to show you...I can't put my eggs in one basket."

"You are so silly..."

"I really am," he placed his baton down on the deck, and brushed his t-shirt, "By the way, your body felt really nice...and cut-"

"Oh f**k no." I said, pretending to roll up my sleeves, "getting too comfortable huh?"

"IM KIDDING," he said, "JOKE....it was a joke...I wouldn't do that...don't kill me...

This is gonna be a long trip isn't it-
