For a while, my vision almost seemed like a still image. The ocean, waves flowing ever so evenly, plus the symmetrical flocks of gulls, everything looked so perfect. The blonde stood in front of me, hand clenching onto his phone, where a picture of a sea chart with a dangerously unstable resolution depicts.
"As proven by facts, maps are better on actual paper." He admitted to me after pressing his eyes onto the tiny screen, "But again, I think style, is more important than functionality."
"You call that style?" I asked, crawling up and sitting like a ball on the back deck of the boat, "I think sailing using real maps is way more stylish...Phones look so out of place in your world."
After setting the course straight(at least I hope that's what happened), he made his way to the back of the boat, dropped down behind my body, and pulled me onto his lap.
"It's always you sailor boys," I said, "all of you are hot as heck."
"As depicted in media," he put his head on my shoulders, "Most of the sailors I've met are pretty lacking when it comes to looks...Especially pirates, they've got some of the most hideous faces I've ever seen."
"Well...you don't belong in that 'most sailors' group."
"Exactly," he joked, "Not with this gorgeous face."
"So, tell me about where we are going."
"Oh yeah," He said, "you know, I thought you said you knew all about Zelda lore."
"I need you to fill me in on the two hyrules thing."
"Alright," he cleared his throat, "So basically, gods flooded the old Hyrule, thus creating this great body of water. And now, the direct descendent of the Hylian royal family, that Tetra girl I mentioned earlier, settled on uncharted lands and created a new kingdom by hand."
"I think I became more confused now that you've explained it..."
"There's a whole timeline holding the entire story together," he said, "it makes sense if you get the whole picture."
"That just sounds like poor game design-"
"Probably," he shrugged, "You can't ask for much, Nintendo has most of their writers on minimum wage."
I let out a girlish giggle, and extended my arms behind me, reaching for his head. The touch of his hair, smooth and even, like whipped cream, filled me with pleasure.
He slowly turned me around by my base, little by little until I faced him directly. Our mouths were only inches away, and he definitely didn't hesitate with that.
As our lips connected, his hands pulled me deeper into him, sinking me into his trap. But before we could get fully immersed, we were interrupted.
"Teenagers, I don't understand you people..." A loud roar came under us, "How did you two even get here? One second you two were talking about old Hyrule, the next second you two are making out."
"Oh, sorry, king." Link and I broke away with embarrassed laughs, "I forgot you were here."
"What did I tell you Link, no doing yo girls on my deck...Go find a bed or something."
"Yeah, but heh, he-"
"That includes boys, don't do your boys either, I advocate for gender equality (please tell me someone got that joke)."
"You are so boring..." Link responded, "I think you've been a boat for so long that you've forgotten how humans function."
"Master Link, I must express one of my concerns," the King said. "Not really a concern, but like a curious question."
