The two of us walked down the stairs, and into the kitchen. Ness shoved two plates of eggs in our hands, and the three of us sat down at the breakfast table.I pinched open the eggs, to find that the egg was still raw in the middle.
"Ness, it's raw," I said. "There are living chickens inside of the yolk."
"I bet the thing is still moving." TL joked. "Nice one Ness."
"No way, I used a cookbook."
"Who in the living heck uses a cookbook to make boiled eggs?" I said while my green-clothed partner laughed like a dying chipmunk. Ness blushed a pretty pink and looked the other way.
"At least I didn't bone my "friend" last night."
...
"Is...that a good thing?" TL shot back. "I think you are digging yourself into a hole Ness."
"The fact stands, I'm happy to be alone as of this moment," Ness said while biting into his eggs, his face noticeably turning sea-green after the bite.
"I think you are just jealous." TL double-downed on his words.
"Ha, pretty funny to hear that coming from you," Ness said. "The person that third wheeled for the past decade. But anyways! I am so proud of you Linkus, you've come a long way."
"Didn't need you to say it, but thanks anyways Nessie."
"Goddammit, Link don't call me that-"
"I really thought you would be more surprised to see us, ya know, be like this," I said to Ness. "You are acting so indifferent."
"Oh no, I knew it from the start, your Toon Link told me about how adorable and all that shit you were, on the day you came to our porch," Ness responded. Link was ready to smash his head into the table from embarrassment, but I was intrigued.
"Go on," I said. "This...was happening the day that I came?"
"Piqued your interest now huh?"
"I wanna know."
"Can we not-" Toon Link attempted to interrupt, but was not successful.
"Linkus wanted me to relay the message, obviously about his little crush on you, which I didn't do because it was incredibly stupid to just tell a dude who you just met hours ago how much you love them."
"HEY, I HELPED YOU WITH LUCAS." TL defended himself. "You also said if I wanted any girl, you would be the middle man. You lied to me!"
"Well he's not exactly a girl is he, there are quite a lot of differences between a guy and a girl."
"No, but like he-"
"I know, but he acts like one, I'm picking up what you are putting down Link."
"I'm not feminine!" I said after awkwardly listening to the conversation for minutes. "Okay, maybe I am a little...But when did I ever act like a girl?"
"You literally sound like one, if you aren't in front of my face right now, no one can convince me you are a guy. Plus you have these...really short shorts in your closet...which are definitely not for guys-"
"Can you not stereotype my boyfriend-"
"It's fine Link, I don't mind," I said. "I think my sexuality justifies that a little bit."
"Aww, winds is being protective, how cute~" Ness made a taunting gesture, which made Link roll his eyes, "Anyways...No offense to you Villager, I'm not an offensive guy."
