"Wake up! Sleepyheads!"

Oh man...

I was comfortably tucked, slightly drooling, my whole body immobile from last night's slumber, with my head sitting right under my significant other's. But that was about to change...

I felt my body flying upward, my pillow smacked right against my head. It doesn't take much to interpret the cause of this.

"...Aryll! Stop!" My partner wined while his body dropped back to the bedsheets, followed by a trail of childish giggles. "...Get down!"

The tiny girl did not heed her brother and kept jumping, her hair flowing up and down, like a waterfall.

"Big bro! It's sooooooo nice to do this again after all this time, do you know how I miss waking you up each day? Let's play the shark game we always used to play! You be the shar-

"Aryll! I have a friend here! We can do this when we are alone!"

"You know you won't spend time with me anymore, now that you have a boyfriend..."

"Of course not! I love you...Not right now, this is a horrible time to play."

"Oh well." The girl said as she jumped off the bed, finally ending the torment. I slowly sat up and rubbed my eyes. Through the window, the sun shined upon my naked skin, and reflected off my eyes. Ouch! Probably shouldn't look at the sun when you wake up.

The girl left the room, but kept the door open.

"Good morning Villa." He said finally. "I'm so sorry, she's a mess, my gram is wayyyy too light on her, she doesn't even have proper manner. And also...she doesn't look like someone that's supposed to be sick."

"You are acting like you have proper manner, ahem, Mr. itsjustaprankbro."

He laughed, and kissed my forehead, it's somewhat of a tradition, to kiss every morning, sometimes on my lips, sometimes on my chest, the spots change every day but the kiss always stays. But before we continued with anything else, Link spotted two shiny dots behind the doorframe, which made both of us halt in a flash. I thought it was Link's sister at first, but it turned out to be his Grandma.

"Sorry, sorry." The elderly lady peaked her head into the room. "You two can continue, I just want to deliver your breakfasts."

"Wait...We don't have to go downstairs to eat?" Link asked.

"Just this once, you can eat upstairs, I knew you two wanted more private time, I'm just gonna scooch away now....bye!"

...

"You have a pretty wicked Grandma Toonie."

"I couldn't agree with you more on that."

We had our breakfasts, I had toasts and some wild fruits, and he chomped down almost a dozen sausages.

"Are you concerned in the slightest that the crumbs are on your bedsheet?" I asked while finishing my meal.

"Yeah, probably, but I'm too hungry to care...You want more toast?"

After another while of just hanging out in his room, talking to him showing me some more magic. We went downstairs and prepared for the day's work, according to Link, we were heading to a place called Dragon Roost Island, which was the place where his bird friends reside in.

We said our temporary farewells to the elderly lady and the young sister, (Who really wanted to come along but good ol gram said no) and were off.
