"This way" the staff says as they lead me outside. I didn't want to bother going out and meeting him, but I am afraid that he will make a scene or even approach Jennie. Since Jennie got her Protection Orders Against Domestic Violence, Kang is prohibited from going near her. Honestly, if Kang was aware of how bad domestic abuse is and he still committed it, breaking such a law is not something he is incapable of.
I fish my phone out of my pocket and texted Jisoo about it. She told me that she'll go out with Jennie in a couple of minutes. It is not like I want to keep it from Jennie since she deserves to know anyway.
When we finally made it out, I saw Kang standing there with a casual outfit on. It does look like he went here immediately, he did not even bother fixing his hair or anything.
"You're not allowed inside" I said, to avoid chaos and because of the protection order
"Where are you going?" He asks making my eyebrows crease
"It is none of your business" I said sternly even though I'm actually terrified
"I am Ella's father, show a little decency and let me see her before you go out of the country for who knows how long" he stated
"It's ironic how you're talking about decency" I said, I mean he just lost a case of domestic abuse... How is any of that decent?
"Bring Ella here, right now" he said crossing his arms
"Did you forgot that you didn't get the custody or something?" I said and at that time I felt a hand on my back making me look at my side to see Jennie. Most of our friends went out as well, Irene, Seulgi, Eunwoo, Bambam, Jisoo, and Jackson are all here.
"Cory and Chaeyoung are inside with Ella" Seulgi whispered from behind me
"You should leave before we call the cops" Jackson said in a very stern tone. Jackson is always bubbly and he never raised his voice towards us but at this time, I know for sure that he is damn serious.
"Jennie, bring my daughter out here... now" Kang said ignoring Jackson. The three guys step a little further to somehow block Kang in case he put things a little further.
"You should leave" Jennie said calmly. She didn't want to gather attention from other people.
Kang looks at Jennie for a long time and I am just waiting for one of them to speak up. Irene then pushes through in between Jackson and Bambam to face Kang.
"I won't say the same thing twice so you better listen you asshat. That girl inside was not your daughter neither will she be your daughter. If you are a real father then you should've protected that girl's mother as much as you desire to be the father figure right now. If you want to make a scene just to bring her out here, don't. I will be the first one to slap you in the face. My palms are itching knowing how many times you laid that dirty hands on my best friend. You have no business here so while I am asking nicely, get the hell out of here... Now." Irene said sternly
"Jisoo.." Seulgi says in almost a whisper but I hear her clearly cause she's just standing behind us
"What?"
"I can't believe that woman is my girlfriend," she said sounding like a high school student who was noticed by their crush
"Don't worry.." Jisoo whispers "I can't believe you have a girlfriend too"
"I won't leave until you let me see Ella" Kang said. Irene is about to step closer to him but Seulgi steps in to pull Irene out. Knowing Kang, he will use it against us if someone hurts him.
"Unnie, calm down a bit" Seulgi says as she continues pulling Irene
"Seulgi I swear if you don't pull your hands off of me-"
