All of them look around, very slowly.
"You think it's still in here?" Ryan asks, cautiously walking towards the wardrobe. You sigh, it's not going to be in there. A wardrobe has handles, meaning the spider would have to open it. Also, there isn't no food in there.
"Probably is." The Doctor grabs the other handle. "Three, two..." They open it, and surprise! It's empty. "No sudden moves." She quietly says, slowly backing up.
"Why would it be in the wardrobe?" You hiss, kneeling down beside the bed.
"It's domestic but it's way too big. It's not harmful." Jade informs.
"Oh, right, look at Anna." You look under, eyes immediately catching the movement of some very large legs. Jumping up, you back to the door as it crawls out. "There we go." You gesture.
"Let's put a door between us." The Doctor decides, turning the handle. "When I say now, quick as you can." She slowly pulls it back. "Go, go, go... Go!" You all run through. "Ryan, keep it there. Back in a sec." She runs out.
Knowing there's a strong possibility it's not alone, you check the bathroom. Empty.
"Doctor, it's coming through!" Ryan calls.
"Can't keep it in the bedroom. Rubbish chute. Maybe that's how it got in. Could we drive it out through there?" Jade considers.
"And set it loose across the city?" The blonde exclaims, coming back with two bottles. She sprays one across the floor and up the walls, onto the ceiling. "No, we need to keep it isolated here. Ryan, come here." He steps back as she squirts vinegar on the ceiling.
"Oi, you just covered me in vinegar."
"Spiders' feet are their noses and they hate the smell of garlic. And the acetic acid in the vinegar means it won't come any further." She explains in a hushed tone. "Y/n, get over the line." She warns. You jump as the bedroom door breaks down.
"Where is it?" Ryan jumps back, clearly anxious.
"Up." You pop the 'p' as it lowers down by a piece of silk. Approaching the line of garlic puree, it backs up. Cautious.
"Hi. We don't mean you any harm." The blonde kneels down, acting as if the spider understands a word of what she's saying. "You're not supposed to be this big and you're definitely not supposed to attack humans. You stay here, until I figure this out." It takes a cautious step forward, then skitters back. "Deal?"
"You know it can't understand you." You sigh.
"Are you saying I don't speak spider?" She accuses, walking back through the cobwebs. You shrug, it wouldn't shock you if she did.
"Oh, I did not like that." Ryan sighs in relief back in the hall.
"Just a few cobwebs." You casually say, pleased at his 'are you serious' reaction.
"Jade McIntyre, who are you exactly?" The Doctor asks. "I saw you check those cobwebs and you weren't surprised."
Jade, who still looks quite confused, is cut off by Graham running down the hall.
"Hey! You'll never guess what I just found in the loft room." He gasps for air.
"It better not be a massive spider." Ryan warily says.
"Yeah." He nods, a little surprised. "Like a big spider had just shed its skin."
"A woman has died, and I think you know more than you're telling." The Doctor turns back to Jade.
"This isn't the first incident." She confirms, "Something's happening with the spiders in the city. They're out of control."
The Doctor nods, glancing at the door.
