Back on the TARDIS Yaz still seems a little shaken. She'd barely been gone an hour, all of you sort of wandering around. In the library you had finished Volume I of The Last Great Time War. It's quite intriguing, as well as very complex.
The Doctor takes off once all of you are gathered, and it doesn't take long for everyone to be grabbing on to something. On a hexagonal screen you can see a very bright light slowly coming closer.
"Hold on." The blonde shouts, only slightly swaying on her feet.
"We are holding on!" Yaz shouts back, clinging onto the counsel.
"Well, hold on tighter."
"And break our fingers?" You snap back.
"Can you do something about this turbulence?" Graham complains.
"I'm avoiding something." She explains, "Argh, can't get the hang of these new systems."
"Slow learner, then?" You tsk.
"What is it?" Yaz asks, eyeing her and the screen. The Doctor continues to pull levers, watching the screen. Another thud nearly sends you to the floor.
"No, it's still coming for us. Oh! It's a teleport pulse." She realises.
"Ah!" Ryan shouts as a bright light fills the room. "What's that?"
A jingle plays as a human-shaped robot appears. It's wearing a dark blue uniform with red lining and a cap. The eyes are bright blue, and he's holding a red & white box.
"Delivery for the Doctor." It says.
"Ah, it's the Kerblam man!" She excitedly says, running right up to him.
"It's the what?" Yaz asks.
"The Kerblam man."
"You're just making sounds now." Graham sighs. The Doctor takes the box, leaning forward with interest.
"Maybe it is a sound." You mysteriously whisper to Graham.
"Delivery fulfilled. And remember, if you want it, Kerblam it!" The robot disappears, leaving the holographic logo spinning in the air.
"Space postman. I've seen it all now." He chuckles.
"Delivery bots. Kerblam's the biggest retailer in this galaxy." She informs, opening the box. "I don't remember ordering anything. Must've been a while back."
The Doctor opens the box, pulling out a dark red fez.
"Oh! What do you think?" She puts it on, grinning. "Still me?"
"An absolute child." You sigh.
"Nice." Graham folds his arms, leaning against the console.
"Check it out, they even use bubble wrap." Ryan pops a few. Yaz looks into the box, pulling out a small white notecard.
"Doctor, look at this, the back of the packing slip." She hands it over.
"Help me." The blonde solemnly reads.
"Probably someone just bored out their mind, mucking about." Ryan sums up. "Trust me, I've been there. You should have seen what we used to hide inside the trainers."
"What if it's not? What if someone really is in trouble?" Yaz points out.
"Here we go again." You sigh.
"Can't hurt to check, can it Doc." Graham guesses.
"Right." She nods, still wearing the fez. "Kerblam, here we come." She spins the hourglass, which you've noticed only happens when you time travel. You note that.
