The light fades quickly, leading you to realise you're back in Missy's TARDIS. You can tell they're both behind you. Taking a breather, you turn around, mirroring the stern expressions.
"You've got the Dalek Emperor now?" You speak first.
"Oh yes, quite simple, really. Did your little favour go well?" Missy tightly asks, not meeting your eyeline.
"It has. Is there a reason you hacked my Vortex Manipulator?" You pull it out of your pocket, and sure enough, the coordinates are fresh.
"Our work is done, the Daleks are occupied. Why don't you let us in?" The Master suggests.
"It can't hurt, can it? A few more brilliant minds working together. Otherwise we were just going to send a few suns supernova, speed up the process a tad." Missy shrugs.
"I had a friend, a few things went wrong, he ended up imprisoned. By touch he can destroy matter, which I believe will be quite helpful." Any questions? You say, directing the TARDIS back to the battlegrounds.
"This friend is helping you by will?" The Master raises an eyebrow.
"Oh no, complete blackmail." You smile.
Missy smiles at that, coming to stand behind you as she checks the destination. The TARDIS lands and you file out, seeing Swarm standing with a Passenger behind him. If he's surprised at the company, he doesn't show it.
"I've had some fun with these," the Master gestures to the Passenger, "I once sucked an entire Solar System inside, the screams were so delightful." She smiles, "Do you mind?" Not waiting for a response, the blonde scans him with her sonic pen. The two disappear with a fizzle, leading you to shrug.
Swarm narrows his eyes, looking quite unhappy.
"Aren't you going to chase after her, demanding to know everything she's planning?" Sparks of anger boil up. Just because you 'accidentally' let a girl stab you in the neck you can't go off on your own. It's a shame concern isn't only reserved for humans.
Missy places a hand on your wrist, seeming to sense the anger.
"It's time you held firm on your promise." Swarm speaks up.
You've referenced many promises in the late, though never deliberately promised any of them.
"You'll have to remind me which, I've made quite a few."
Swarm growls, raising a finger. The three of you fade out, though much smoother than any Vortex Manipulator could.
This time you appear to a very familiar setting, Time. The Temple. It doesn't resist you this round, meaning you've already had the little skirmish. You wonder if Yaz and Jade are still here.
Missy glances at you, looking as if you'll break at any moment. You shoot her a glare, both of you stepping to take the lead. She pokes your feet with her umbrella, though stops when a floating Triangle appears.
"Can you repair?" It questions.
"That's exactly why we're here." She smiles. The Triangle senses something, as it spins uncertainly. "Unsure." It panics, as much as a computer can. "Identify."
Rolling your eyes, you throw your knife at it. The triangle falls to the ground, flashing but silent.
"Must you always be so hasty?" The Time Lady scolds.
"That depends. Swarm, is there a specific reason we're here?"
"You don't remember?" He coos, posture dominating as always. You were here last weekend, but -oh, nostalgia.
