Hands spread on the balcony you've been watching the flames die out in the city below for some time now. It's a sight that will never bore you.

Gallifrey finally falls. You've waited for so long, for so many millenniums you decided to stop counting. A brush on your shoulder catches your attention, seeing Missy standing behind you. You vaguely recall her going to collect Rassilion's headpiece to frame.

"The entire Universe is free at our fingertips now. Any requests, dear?" She asks, both of your hands just apart on the railing.

"I was thinking of conquering Mondas, the original home of the Cybermen. It's only fair to show them their pitiful history." You thoughtfully respond. She nods in consideration, not meeting your eyes as she gazes over the ruins. Both suns are nearly set in the sky, dancing just above the horizon.

"We could find the Division, wreak some chaos." She softly suggests, "Exploit them and start a war."

"I like that." You agree, "Add in a little interrogation and torture for Tecteun. Wherever she is." If she's still in this Universe and alive. Being the scientist she is, the chances are in your favour.

"But one thing first." She holds up a finger, stepping closer. "I have a little surprise for you, as soon as we're finished here."

"Intriguing." You smile.

Missy suddenly gasps, closing her eyes. You quickly recognise it as telepathic communication. As you suspected, the Doctor got out. Either the cybermen failed in their mission to eliminate the humans and they went on a rescue mission, or blondie has just decimated the entire matrix. You figure the chances are higher that both happened, knowing the Universe.

"If you insist." She sighs, looking at you with a tight face. "Matrix Chamber. Come along, human & others."

"A final face off?" You confirm.

"She always has to have the last word." Missy lowly grumbles.

"What can she say now? We've obviously got the upper hand." Your shoes click down the hallways with the clunk of the CyberLords behind you. You may have to work on their grace.

"At a guess, a speech on right and wrong, followed by a dramatic gesture to become besties." She presumes. That sounds quite accurate.

All of you file in the Matrix Chamber, Jade standing directly behind you with the CyberLords standing at attention. You and Missy stand on the podium, ready to get this over with & leave. You've got a secret society to exploit, and maybe some tea while you're at it.

At last the Doctor steps in, looking thoroughly tired. An endless life does that. There's also a glimpse of something else in her eyes, a trait you can't quite pinpoint as applicable.

"I definitely said no plus-ones." She directly says to Missy.

"You actually thought I would come alone? Come on, Doctor. You know me better than that."

The blonde rolls her eyes. "You're looking peaky." She says to you.

"Did I mention I have the Cyberium, flowing through me, exchanging thoughts?" You hold up your wrists, showing her the flash of silver in your veins. Her eyes widen at the sight, but she quickly masks the surprise. "It's beautiful, isn't it?" You gesture to the Cybermen. "We broke you, created a new race from you, able to conquer anything & everything."

"You think you've broken me?" She steps forward, wearing a confident look. "You'll have to try harder than that. You've given me a gift. Of myself. You think that could destroy me? You think that makes me lesser? It makes me more. I contain multitudes more than I ever thought or knew." She lowers her voice. "You want me to be scared of it because you're scared of everything. But I am so much more than you."
