The Beginning of the End (Doctor Who)

Chap. 57

You deeply inhale and let out a shaky breath. Part of you knows you'll regret this forever, but another part can't hold back the truth any longer.

"I love you too."

You brush her hair back, capturing her lips in a sentient kiss. She wraps her arms around your back, pulling you closer. She tastes like mint and vanilla as your pour, unrestricted, everything you've held back.

Pulling apart, she places both hands on either side of your neck, foreheads touching.

"Do you mind telling me where you went?" Missy whispers.

"We went on a little school trip." A voice answers, both of you snapping around to see the Master leaning against an open door. You had shut it.

Missy instantly has her umbrella pointed at her, but the Master doesn't even flinch. Instead, she slowly walks towards the pair of you.

"A lovely new look, Doctor, very sexy, but what in Rassilon's name are you doing here?" Missy calmly demands.

The blonde slowly exhales, using a single finger to lower the tip of the Umbrella. Surprisingly, Missy lets her.

"I'm you, love, from another Universe. I required Darkness' assistance for a moment. " The Master smirks, eyes flicking to watch your every movement.

"For what would that be?" Missy looks to you. Grinning, you pull out the crystals.

"The biggest Paradox yet, wiping all Daleks from existence. I'm considering releasing all that energy here. The same Universe gets boring after a while, don't you agree?"

Missy laughs, slamming the tip of her Umbrella onto the hard metal floor.

"I wouldn't expect anything less from you, dear." She approves. Clearing her throat, she looks at you more seriously. "But you really should take a break. You've been running nonstop since I found you."

That decision is immediately thrown out the window. Maybe you haven't rested since your lovely human to current transformation, but certainly you can go longer. Time Lords can run for a few months without sitting down.

"How long's it been?" The Master asks.

"It doesn't matter." You snip, going over to the controls. "Since this Universe is going down, I do want my little pet back. There's no bloody way I'm letting the Doctor keep her." 

"The redhead?" She wonders. You hum, entering her bio signals into the TARDIS. She's likely on Earth, but you never can be certain with the Doctor. "You've got much better taste here than in my Universe." The Master says, presumably to Missy.

"I'm a goody-good there, aren't I?" She sighs.

"And very colorful about it, too." The Master notes.

"You aren't any better about it here." Missy remarks.

Oh... now that's a very, very delicious idea.

"We can use that." You spin around, noticing how close the two are.

"Hm?" Missy raises an eyebrow, her eyes calculating.

"The Master & Doctor share a face. Don't you think it'd be quite easy to trick her other little pets into coming along with us? Think of the fun to be had with that."

The two share a look, silently nodding. 

A blurp from the counsel catches your attention. Jades bio sign has been tracked to Earth, of course. Upon investigation, you find the Doctor is there too. Absolutely perfect.

"Have you still got the gases from Aquarius?" You ask Missy.

"I wouldn't waste a weapon like that." She confirms, "Are you considering releasing them on Earth again?"
