Outside the farmhouse, Bill stands next to the Doctor, a hand around your arm. An electronic siren goes off, catching the Doctors attention.
"Oh, they love to advertise." He sighs, looking to Bill. "This is it, I'm afraid. So, if there's anything we ought to be saying?"
"I can't think of anything. Can you?" She-it looks to him.
"No." He shakes his head.
"But, hey er, you know how I'm usually all about women and, and kind of people my own age..."
"Yeah?"
She pauses, "Glad you knew that." Then, drags you off to the lifts. You don't protest, knowing her strength. That doesn't mean you're going willingly.
She-it moves quickly, explosions happening every few seconds. You grimace, feeling the anger still building up inside.
You finally could've felt like you belonged. Sure, those two very long weeks we're incredibly boring, but... you felt content enough, the adrenaline rush of knowing a Cyberman could pop up at any moment, and it did. Finally among the stars. You never could see them, but knowing you were out among them, off of Earth...
And the Doctor had to take it all away. You tried to fight him, but damn, Time Lords have iron grips. As do Cybermen, unsurprisingly.
At the elevator shaft, you admire how all the trees look dead in the distance. While Bill presses the call button, you catch a glimpse of dark purple fabric.
"Bill." You sternly say, "Let me go." You demand.
"I can't do that." She denies, but is caught off guard by the explosion of a nearby lift. Taking the opportunity, you yank free and run over, stopping with your hand over your mouth as you see Missy laying on the ground, eyes closed, arms outstretched.
"Missy." You loudly say, standing over her, voice clear. A small gasp escapes her, eyes fluttering, but remaining closed.
"You did come." She lightly gasps.
"A certain man was very stubborn, but I made it out." You say, kneeling down to sit next to her. "You?"
"I was going to be good." She breathes, "but a different stubborn man disagreed." She laughs.
You sadly smile, watching the explosions in the sky, looking up as Bill approaches.
"We need to go now." She-it says.
You recognize that you don't stand a chance against fighting a Cyberman.
"You're not going to die." You confidently breath, "And you'll come find me."
"Of course." She whispers, barely audible.
Feeling no better, you lightly brush her hand, standing up. However, an explosion comes in the direction of the lifts, you look at Bill, grinning. "Run."
Cyberman have quite good pace, the two of you flying across the field. The further you run, the more and more desolate the forest gets. You don't want to stop running. Eventually you come to a part where all the trees are reduced to large twigs, small fires burning. A black and red figure lies among them.
Bill sees him too, walking over. His face and clothes are burned, face covered in ash. She falls to her knees, posture down as if crying. Walking over, you chuckle in amusement, noticing a tear landing on his forehead as Bill looks up at the sky. As she stands up, you gasp as the Cyberman suit falls away, and... rain falls from the sky, in a spaceship.
Glancing behind you, where Bill is staring, you see Heather, completely drenched. You remember her, as Bill had a huge crush on her, but she just disappeared one day. Bill never spoke of her after that. Now you suppose something alien must've happened.
