GROWING UP WAS HARD FOR MOST PEOPLE BUT, Yang Yujin never really cared about getting to a certain age and getting called old or not being able to live up to your 80's. The world was full of people caring for others looks, money, or fame; popularity.
But most classmates at her school knew being ugly wasn't something she was except not having money like other kids. With her parents running a small shop earning them a wage under then average could barely afford her to get better clothing or shoes. She hadn't really cared for any of that.
It was all going great with both her parents until they decided to get separated and file a divorce. That meant she could only see her father on the weekends and her mother on the weekdays. Her mother had found someone better and wealthier than herself. Eventually as the years went on her mother's boyfriend now was her step-father.
A thing she hated.
She started to skip school after lunch time and going to her father's house which was near Ssangmun-dong. Also near by her school.
Sighing to herself, Yujin tied up her short hair up in a bun being able to help her father load up the squid that was in the coolers. They had been loading it up to take it to ms. Cho who had been working there for a couple hours now. She has always took care of her while her father was away doing his job.
"Hey, sweetheart go inside the truck and wait for me to tie these cooler down." Yang Junghoon had pointed out, tossing the keys into her hand in which she had caught.
Once arriving to the stand she had seen the lady severing a costumer her order while her father was unloading the coolers from the back. Getting out of the truck she had told her father she was going to go look around the center of Seoul.
After walking for what felt a while she saw a weird man coming towards her; more like running to her in a way. Moving away from the scene she had seen he had crashed into a girl that looked around her age down on to the floor.
After the man had gotten up her went to her and stuck her hand out for the other to place her's into. The girl looking now up at Yujin giving her a weird look and looked to the side before picking herself up and walking away from the scene and going out the door now.
She looked into her pockets to see if she had still had her money to buy herself something to eat with the money her father had given her. The puzzled looked came upon her face when she realized she wad nothing in her pocket.
Now walking home with the most saddest expression on her face she had bumped into someone. She looked up and saw a young tall man with a black suit with a briefcase in his hand. She bowed down at him, "Sorry, sir."
"Wanna play a game with me?"
