A CAB NOW DROPPING THEM OFF AT A BEAUTIFUL CAFE, " hey, cheol have you eaten anything?" yujin asked the little boy who was sticking to sae-byeok's side. the boy shook his head in response but kept walking. "I haven't eaten anything today."
"we drove almost an hour today." sae-byeok told yujin who smiled at her
"well, we did thanked the cab driver for his service. he was nice enough to let us even come this far from the orphanage."
the cafe door opening with the sound of a bell, walking to the back of the cafe where you could see very fancy people eating the desired food. they had to wait for a while since the seats were full.
Namyangju cafes on weekends are really crowded. many cars and people. walking up to a bar where they were different kinds of bread, because it was a bakery cafe. yujin grabbed a basil scone the bread tasted good mostly since she like any kind of bread.
on the other hand kang sae-byeok didn't like dessert, but she liked the cream croissant. just like sae-byeok, cheol had gotten the same thing as her with some hot chocolate with marshmallows on top.
yujin was indecisive whether to get the pretty mugs that were on display for customers to buy along with their purchase. the smile on the mug had seemed to be the cafe's trademark. it reminded her of a place called Noted (donut place).
there were many kinds of cake and cream bread too, yujin thought they were good at making cream. it took them so long just to order coffee because there were too many people in the shop, from taking seat to ordering, it was very hard.
it was finally eating time. yujin was scared if she was going to do next but picked up enough courage to slice a piece of bread on put the fork near sae-byeok's mouth. the kang girl slowly turned her head, "really, you want me to take it from the same fork as you?" "in front on my little brother, yujin he's too young."
sae-byeok knowing that cheol was busy drinking from his hot chocolate she quickly took a bite of the offered piece by yujin. "did you like it?"
"mmh - it's my first time coming here, so yeah it's great."
sae-byeok not even a minute later tried to feed yujin but failed to do so.
"sae-byeok?" cheol asked nicely looking at his sister who sat next to yujin.
"yeah?"
"could we go outside if it gets cooler? would there be available seats?" he questioned.
"maybe, we'll see later."
after finishing eating they took a seat near the window and looked out to see a very beautiful river near upon. it looked so pretty just like Jeju Island. yujin liked the summer a bit more because the day would be long.
walking outside of the shop the view was so good. so was the weather and the feeling, it was hot but not humid, for now.
"its pretty here, hey cheol would you like to take a picture here with your sister?" yujin question the boy who looked excited to take it. as much as sae-byeok didn't want to do this, she still took the picture with her younger brother.
"I have a stomachache because I had too much bread." yujin called out now walking next to cheol.
the day ended with both girls taking cheol back for the night and coming home to two familiar card with the same number on the back.
