(Rowan PV)

A strong smell woke me. Cold dirt and smoke, mingling with a dull fish smell. I shook my head to clear it from my nose but I realized I was unable to move much or see. I tried to move my shoulder and heard a rasping crinkle sound. My toes wiggled but I could feel a strong papery substance clinging to them.

It rubbed off with a bit of force but took concentration. A plan was immediately set in motion. Escape.
Wiggling, rubbing, crawling, and tearing at my bindings I freed myself from the bindings covered me from head to toe. The film covered my eyes and I rubbed at it only to accidentally scratch myself and let out a Yelp of suprize. Sightless, I touched the tips of my fingers and nails, the nails had become surprisingly sharp.

Above me I heard the stomp of loud feet on wooden floor. The creak of a door opened with a slam and light flashed over my film covered eyes.
I crouched down immediatly and backed away from the noise.

"Sett-ul, sett-ul." A low voice called. It was deep and unfamiliar. The words felt chopped and foreign. A shadowy figure of the stranger was blurry. The film over my eyes were blocking my sight. I rubbed at my eyes to relieve my blindness and when they opened them again I found myself in a pit with a giant green person. Panick set in, and I looked anxiety stricken around the room for an escape route.

The pit was made of rock and stones, a big and deep circular room with a wood ceiling. I noticed now that the fish smell came from the ceiling above me. Slices of dryed fish dangled from strings. Shit. Being kept in a room for food storage with the only way out being blocked by a giant did not sound like a great place to be.

The giants figured moved forward and I took quick steps backward but immediatly tripped on something. A rope? Ouch what in the abyss was that. I didn't have time to check as I tried to scoot away. To many new sensations flooded my brain. Pain where I shouldn't have felt pain. Smells were to strong.

"Sett-ul. Naught eatcha." The giants laughed as it stomped closer with loud footsteps. I felt the vibration of it through the dirt packed floor. The voice belonged to a woman I realized. As she got closer, I saw her features more clearly. Green grey skin and yellow eyes that shined in the low light. Two fanged bottom teeth protruded from her mouth and short russet hair grew from her head, not quiet covering her pointed green ears.

The green women stopped infront of me and squatted down to my eye level. Her breath smelled strongly of the fish that dangled from the ceiling but I swallowed down my discomfort. I felt her inspecting me,

"What maken ah folk are ya?" She asked.

"Huh?" I replied baffled. Her accent was thick that the words sounded like another language all together.

"You. Not. Human. Yes?" She broke the words up slowly and forcefully, pointing at me

"I'm human." I pointed at myself. Confused at why of all things that would come up.

She mumbled something to herself and shook her head vehemently.

"Up, up." She said standing up. She didn't look back and only walked away to the same set of stair that she had come from. Not wanting to stay in the food storage I scrambled to my feet and followed her.

The top of the stairs opened into a house. I stopped at the top and poked my head out. Checking out my surroundings. It was circular room with a thatched roof. A large pile of bedding at the rear. Lots of sharp weapons leaned against the wall at the front of the house. The woman picked up an odd bag that hung heavily from a ceiling beam. She took a horn out of her pocket and dunked it into the bag.
