Chapter 25 - A Rollarcoaster of......Love..?

Maki's POV:

Love..?

There's, there's no way I-

But..

Even if I've never felt it before...

I feel like..

This is what it is..

But how I could I fall in love with such an idiot-!

I'm really not the kind to fall for a guy, who flashes his smile and is always yelling

I really think I have

My lips curved into a small smile, not being able to hold it back

I shouldn't be smiling right now, this is bad..!

I mean, I'm an assassin I really shouldn't even have friends!

What have I done?

And I just remembered everyone in the class just found out my true talent-!

If I know Momota, he's gonna come after me-

"Maki-Roll!" as if on cue, Momota burst through the door, making me flinch and get up from the desk

He was out of breath and sweating, he probably ran here

"I've been looking all over for you Maki-Roll!" Momota yelled, running over to me and bumping into the desk, causing his face to be really close to mine, making my face heat up as I slightly backed up, he leaned in

"What're you-" he suddenly pulled me into a hug, throwing me off guard and making me blush furiously, my face was on fire

"I was so worried about ya! Hey just so you know we all are, you left out of nowhere and got everyone to worry." He told me

I could feel his chest rise and fall, his breath was slowing down from running, I could feel his warm breath brush my ear

I......liked it, his warm body was pressed against mine, which slightly hurt my chest since he was holding me real tight, but I hadn't noticed, I just stayed enveloped his warmth for as long as I could, not reciprocating the hug, but just enjoying it.

"I know what's happening Maki-Roll, Ouma's just a dick okay? Don't let him bring you down, even if everyone is against ya, I'll always be here for you." He had switched to a calmer voice

I wanted to cry but I wanted to smile, his hug was making me happy, but I just wanted to get away from everyone, now that everyone knows they'll never trust me, but the fact that he always will was reassuring.

"If your comfortable with it, we can go back to class, if you'd prefer something else that's fine with me too." He smiled softly as he got out of our hug but still clung to my shoulders with his hands

I missed the warmth of his body..

"I don't know what I want.." I replied quietly as I slowly took his hands off my shoulders, trying to take initiative for the first time, I still held onto his hands, making eye contact, he had a surprised expression and a pink tint to his cheeks

"I don't want to go back yet, but anything else is really fine with me.." I muttered as I diverted my eyes once again, flustered. I squeezed his hands gently
