Maki's POV:

The warm breeze of the dawn blew through the window, I was unable to feel it. The shield that is Kaito covered all parts of my body that faced the window. I woke up to the feeling of a light kiss to the forehead, his lips gentle on my pale skin. "Morning Maki-Roll..." Kaito mumbled, morning voice very present in that barotone of well...tone. I could hear the smile on those lips of his, I just knew those wrinkles on the edge of his eyes were curling up with glee.

To see it myself, I finally looked up from his chest, into his warm magenta eyes. And just as I thought, that soul reviving smile he always wore with pride. "Good Morning Kaito..." For some odd reason I was taken aback, as if I'd just realized how close we were. And that this was my reality now...this wasn't a dream. The same thing happened the night before, when he also slept over.

"We've got school, or did you forget?" Kaito chuckled lightly, his eyes soft and relaxed. I exhaled deeply at his words, that's right. It was Monday now, the past two days with Kaito have been a haze. (Even if Saturday began...rough to say the least.) But now it was time to face the consequences of my actions..

"I wish I could...ugh, why did I have to overreact like that?" I moved my head back down to his chest, looking to the pillow for guidance. Knowing I wasn't going to find any. Nothing would change the way I acted on Saturday, everyone's reactions...just everything.

"Maki. I told you, it wasn't overreacting. Anyone in your position would've acted that way, maybe worse. You handled it better then you think; and plus let them think what they may. You look damn good either way." Kaito gently grabbed my chin and made me face him eye to eye. I couldn't help the heat that began to rise on my face, his compliment...I knew he was serious when he dropped that damn nickname, I smiled a bit sheepishly. From the position, and his assertiveness made me feel foolish for doubting myself. He's...right I guess, as long as Kaito's with me, it doesn't matter what they say.

I blinked, "L-Let's just get ready..." I lightly pushed Kaito away. His embrace like a warm cup of hot chocolate if it was a blanket. With the weather as it was, I welcomed it. But school sure did not, I was glad there was such a loophole in the rules regarding dorms however. After a moment of trying to escape his grasp, him pulling me closer, and so on...It seemed we both finally agreed through silence to get up and get ready. Luckily we had grabbed his school stuff yesterday, and his 10,000 step skin and hair care routine. I simply brushed and parted my hair while he disregarded all forces of gravity acting on his hair to stick it up. It was oddly comforting, to be getting ready with him side by side. It was almost natural, I silently prayed it would be like this in our near future. Keeping those thoughts to myself, and trying my best to ignore the looks Kaito gave me as I got ready...I eventually finished, and he finally did too.

We both walked out of my room, unsuspecting, Kaito talking about a brown dwarf star or something like that. We stopped in the kitchen so he could grab an apple, he threw it at my face before catching it in front of me. "You alright?" He smirked playfully, and I hit him lightly in the arm in return.

"You're an idiot you know tha-...ha....hi..!" The curve on the end of my lip went back to its original position. I spotted the blonde that was right behind Kaito, my face now as red as the apple Kaito held. I would've noticed it sooner had it not been for him...And it had only just now occured to me the way his other arm was placed on the refridgerator behind me. Shit.

"Hm? What's wrong Maki-Roll? Rendered speechless or-" Kaito was at first amused by my behavior, even moving closer to my scarlet face to match my uniform. Before I wordlessly and sheepishly poked him in the cheek towards the pianist who's jaw was dropped behind him. I moved his head to the side and I saw his eyes widen at the sight of the flabberghasted Akamatsu who simply held her phone up to the sight in front of her. Kaito immediately removed his hand from the fridge and frantically crossed his arms. I stood up straight and put my hands behind my back. Lips as thin as a line as we awaited for Akamatsu to speak. I wasn't the only one with an apple red face now...
