Hi Everyone! This takes place before all of the poisoning Shuichi and stuff but this is cannon to the actual story!
Kaito's POV:
I ran downstairs with thundering steps of excitement
I ran to my nana, she smiled
"Happy Birthday my astronaut!" She exclaimed with a party hat
"Happy Birthday kiddo!" My grandpa added with a wrinkly smile
"Happy Birthday Kaito." Maki-Roll smiled slightly
"Happy Birthday Kaito!" Shuichi smiled widely
"Happy Birthday!!!" Kaede exclaimed
"Thank you you guys!" I exclaimed with happiness
They all sang for me and then we started to celebrate
Now it was present time
Everyone already went, Maki-Roll was last
"Do you mind if we go into a different room? it's a little personal." Maki-Roll asked the others with a red tint to her cheeks
"Course!" Kaede grinned
Maki dragged me to my room
"What's up Maki-Roll?" I asked
"Here's your gift." She turned away with a red blush as she fiddled with her twin tails before turning to me and leaning in
Is she going to kiss me..? Wait I'm not prepared!
Wait a second, no-!
Before she could continue, I grabbed her by her waist and pulled her in for a kiss myself
Her eyes widened, I closed mine
Once we pulled apart, her face was as red as a rocket ship!
"K-Kaito-!" She yelled with her red face
"Sorry, was that to sudden?" I asked
"That was supposed to be my present to you...it doesn't work if you do it.." she pouted slightly
"It's okay! My present is seeing you all flustered! Plus, you yourself is the best present I could wish for.." I smiled as I pulled her in for another kiss
She wrapped her arms around my neck as she deepened it
Despite our height difference, it worked.
"I love you Maki-Roll, even more than the stars!" I exclaimed
"I-I love you too..." she said with her face still a blushing red
I did it! I scored the girl!!!!
And she's awesome!
Suddenly, I heard a ringing sound
"Huh? What's that?" I questioned
...
I woke up
"Damn it! That was a dream!" I exclaimed with frustration
Maybe that dream was right...I should ask Maki-Roll out, it's only fair.
And I think she likes me back!
With a pep in my step, I jumped from bed and got ready for the day, my phone was buzzing with texts from everyone
As I scrolled through my notifications, I couldn't help but stare at hers for forever
