"Nrgh..."
"Where...Where the hell am I?"
"...I can't, I can't move.."
"I can't think straight either..."
"I need...need.."
I felt a sudden urge to cough bubble up in my throat, before I could even think about it, I coughed up a strange liquid.
It splat on the floor, pink and runny
"Blood..? Blood! I coughed up blood!"
"Astute observation Kaito Momota." A mysterious voice congratulated me
I looked up to see a man with hair half black and half white, wearing a mask and sunglasses
"Who the hell are you? And where am I?" I asked
"Well, no where in particular. Your dear friend Maki would know although.." he chuckled
"Maki-Roll....exactly who are you? And how do you know my Maki-Roll?" I suddenly felt enraged, as if this guy was my worst enemy
"Your...Maki-Roll..You say?" He asked with a small chuckle
"Tell me about her, specifically your relationship with her." He replied, I could sense a smirk behind that mask
"How do I know I can trust you?" I asked, skeptical
"You can, I can tell you where your Maki-Roll is! How about I bring her to you in just a second." He reassured
"All right then, but how did I get here?" I asked
"You don't remember? I'm Maki's friend, she invited you here for something, probably a date.." he replied I could tell his eyes looked back to me
A date..?
"A d-date? Silly Maki-Roll, doesn't she know I should be the one asking her? Ehehe..." I laughed to myself
He raised an eyebrow before giving another chuckle and leaving the room
Maki's POV:
I opened my eyes, I was standing, where? I'm not sure...
That's right! Where is Kaito?
I looked up to the front of me, met by an unexpected sight
There he stood, the leader, with hair half black and half white, holding an apple.
"Where is he?" I asked, gritting my teeth at the sight of him, immediately fueled with rage
"Where is who?" He smirked, only wearing sunglasses
"You know who I'm talking about."
"Oh do I?"
"Where. Is. Kaito." I asked in a threatening tone
"Ohhh, you mean that spacey guy? Oh don't sweat it Maki-Roll I haven't done anything to hi-"
"DONT CALL ME THAT." I yelled, my blood boiled with anger
"Gee, touched a nerve there. Now, explain to me why you've just been sooo distracted with other things, and not about what actually matters." He gritted his teeth as he squeezed the apple into pieces
"I-I apologize, school is hard and-" he interrupted, "No no no, I meant with your little boyfriend and all.." he chuckled
"He's not my boyfriend. And for the record, he just bothers me all day and thinks we're friends." I lied, though if you asked beginning of the school year me I would've agreed.
