Chapter 13: Alone in the Library

Kaede POV:

I walked in with a determined smile, it's going to be okay!

But right as I saw Shuichi, my confidence...disappeared

"Hi Shu!" I yelled to him with a smile

He looked up and there was quite some red on his face

"Oh! Sorry I meant Saihara..." I said awkwardly realizing my mistake

We awkwardly stood in silence, thinking of what to say

"So......you wanted to sort some books?" I smiled, trying to keep the conversation alive

He nodded

"Well then...let's do it together!" I pumped my fists up like usual, despite the fact that I was nervous

"So the books atop are dusty, and they're not organized either, but there are a lot of them" I said in thought

"But to get to them, I'll go on the stepladder okay?! Just tell me if I'm putting them right, I'm gonna try and order them like a downward ramp!" I yelled to him as I started to climb up

I made it up top as I looked down at Shuichi, I asked him if I was centered right and he nodded but his face was kinda flushed with red, not sure why though..

There was a vent of some kind, next to all the books

Hmmmm.....

I was thinking of where to start

That's when I suddenly realized

Can Shuichi see my um.....

Shuichi's POV

I will admit, it's really awkward with Akamatsu

I really don't know where to start talking about what happened, so she's the only one talking so far, unless you count my silent nodding

She came up of how to order the books and confirmed it with me when she climbed up the stepladder and was centered

That's when I couldn't help but notice I was noticeably staring

I was spacing out, not realizing what it was on until I went out of the trance

I-I could see her....

Undergarments....

I didn't mean to stare really?!

But I didn't know how to tell her, so I just stood there while my face flushed with red

"Am I centered?" She asked me

I nodded silently, I hoped she didn't notice that I was accidentally s-staring or anything

She suddenly kinda froze up, startling me

"Can you see my um.....delicates..?" She asked and I didn't know how to respond

What was I supposed to say really..?
