"Milo!" I said, excitedly grabbing his hand, "She just kicked!"
His eyes widened as he pressed his hand where I directed it, "Our baby girl."

We were at the studio, recording a video of "Someday" for something for Disney, but whenever Milo sang, I felt a sharp jab in my stomach.

He kneeled and rested his cheek against my belly, "Hey, Baby Girl, it's Daddy. I can't wait for you to make your arrival."
I laughed, "Mom can't either. You're going to be so beautiful."
Milo smiled smugly, "You better look like Mommy."
I rolled my eyes, "You're gonna be the spitting image of Daddy."
"Oh come on," He said, standing and kissing the top of my head, "You're perfect."
"Far from it, Baby," I grinned.
"I hate to interrupt this beautiful moment, but we're on a time crunch," The videographer smiled, "But I did get that on video and we're leaving it in, if it's okay with you."
I smiled, "Of course it's fine."
"Agh, I love you," Milo said, kissing me.

"Meg," Kayla said, entering our room, at nearly 3 in the morning,"Are you asleep?"

I was not, in fact, asleep. I almost couldn't sleep anymore. I usually just lay in bed and tossed and turned all night.

"No," I answered, turning towards the door, "What's up?"
She looked scared, "I started my period." Her voice shook.

My heart broke for the girl, that was so devastating.

"Aw, Hun," I said, getting out of bed, careful not to wake Mi, "Do you need pads?"
She nodded, "Yeah."

To preface, Camryn had left us in charge of Kayla while she went on a short girls vacation before our baby shower on Sunday.

"Okay," I went to my bathroom where I had a box of unopened pads, and I gave them to her, "Here, go put one on and come back in here. I won't need these for a while."

She laughed slightly and thanked me as I went downstairs and got her a chocolate bar. She was gonna need it.
When I returned upstairs, I texted Camryn and told her about the situation when Kayla came in.

"Can I sleep with you guys?" She asked me softly.
I smiled and nodded, "Come on in, K."

She crawled in between Milo and I, before falling asleep. And I finally drifted off too.

I woke up to Milo shaking me slightly.

"Hm?"
He frowned, "Why's Kayla here?"
I rubbed my eyes, "Girl problems."
He immediately understood and gave me a sad face, "She's supposed to be a little girl."
I smiled sadly, "I know."

"Finished," Milo said, smiling.
I grinned, "It's perfect."

We had spent the last month moving into our new house and everything was done besides the nursery. That was, until three days ago, when we started working on the baby's room.

It was beautiful. The crib was along the wall opposite the door, while the dresser was beside the wardrobe and the changing table. All the furniture was white, including the white wooden rocking chair and lamp that were in front of the windows. The walls were light gray, but the curtains, carpet, and lampshade were a pale pink, including the big letters that said her name that hung above the crib.

It was perfect and we were finally ready for baby girl's arrival.

As for the house...Our house was beautiful as well. All the room colors flowed and it was nice and modern. We had five bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, and a wonderful basement that had a kitchen and game room.

But the best part of all, was that it shared a backyard with Camryn's house.

It truly was bittersweet to move out. The hardest part was leaving Kayla, but of course, we figured she would be over every day whenever Camryn wasn't home, and to help with the baby.

"I love our house," I whispered as I hugged Milo tightly.
"Me too," He said, kissing the top of my head, "Me too."

"Milo," I whispered, clutching my stomach, "I can't sleep."
He turned over and rubbed my stomach, "Hey, Baby, it's time for Mommy to sleep and she can't sleep unless you fall asleep."

My heart melted at that and I began to tear up.

"Baby, what's wrong?" He asked, enveloping me in his arms as best he could with my ginormous belly.
"You're going to be such a good dad," I sobbed, "What if I'm not a good mom?"
His gaze softened, "What makes you think you won't be a good mom? You're great with all kids. You'll be the best mom. There's no one I'd rather raise a child with."

That made me cry more.

"I love you so much...I don't deserve you," I said, wiping my eyes.
He shook his head, "It's the other way around. You're the strong one, carrying my child...I love you."

Gosh. I loved this man with my entire heart.

Meg, we're gonna be late," He said, trying to rush me.
"I look like a whale in this outfit," I cried, "Nothing I wear looks good."

Maternity pictures were much more stressful then they should be.

"Honey, don't talk like that. You look beautiful in anything, as always," He said, kissing the tip of my nose before my lips.
"Ugh," I huffed, "Let's go."

I was at the point where I was waddling because I was so swollen everywhere, but in just a few short weeks, we would have our baby girl in our arms. Her name had been picked out months prior but we hadn't told anyone, it was a surprise.

"We're here," Milo said as we entered the parking lot.

Here we go...
