January 2020

Kayla seemed to be happy here and I loved watching Milo interact with his little sister. I was super excited though, because in two days was the night that the whole Zombies 2 cast would be able to watch the movie together. At the moment, Milo and I were still cuddling in bed, because I wasn't feeling too hot. Milo had to go to a school and do a few activities there. I was supposed to go, but since I was sick, I decided against it.

"My stomach hurts," I moaned, my body trying to curl into itself.
"I know, Baby," He began to massage the muscles on my stomach.

Milo was laying on his side, holding me and I was just laying in his arms. I was writhing so much, it couldn't have been comfortable for him, but he didn't say anything, just held me tighter.

"It hurts, so bad," I closed my eyes.
"Is it that time of the month?" Milo asked me.
"No," I moaned.

A knock on the door, "You two good in there?" Camryn's voice.
I felt too weak to say anything, so Milo answered, "Yeah, you can come in."

The door opened and Camryn and Kayla came in.

"What's wrong?" Kayla asked, worriedly.

I didn't answer, just clutched Milo's t-shirt, tighter.

"She isn't feeling very good," Milo told them, tightening his grip on me.
"Oh, poor thing," Camryn came over to feel my head, "Feel." She told Milo.
He pressed his lips and then cheek to my forehead, "You may have a slight fever."
"Well, breakfast is ready if you feel like eating," Camryn told us.

The thought of breakfast made me want to wretch.

"Thanks Mom," Milo thanked her.

Camryn and Kayla left the room.

"Maybe I should stay home today," Milo said, resting his cheek on my head.
"No, Milo, don't let all those kids down," I told him.

As much as I wanted him to stay home with me, I knew that was selfish and that he needed to go see those kids, even though I couldn't.

"I need to start getting ready, then," He said, and I let him get out of bed.

He put on a pair of blue jeans and a white t-shirt.

"You sure you're okay?" He asked, feeling my forehead.
"I'm fine," I assured him, "but i'm going downstairs."

I stood up and suddenly felt dizzy and wobbled.

"Whoa!" Milo grabbed my waist, steadying me, "Do you want me to carry you?"

I nodded and went to the bathroom to wash my face and brush my teeth and such. Milo made sure I was okay, while brushing his own teeth and washing his face. As I walked, I had to hold on to whatever I could to ensure that I wouldn't fall.

"Let's go downstairs," He said, lifting me, bridal style.
"Milo, I could've walked," I sighed, resting my head against his strong chest.
"It's my job to take care of you," He kissed my forehead, after he sat me on the couch, "I should stay home."
"Milo," I whined, wrapping my arms around his neck, "You need to go."
"Who's gonna take care of you?" He asked.
Before I had a chance to answer Camryn spoke up, "Milo, I will take care of her. Trust me, I love her like my daughter and I will make sure she's okay. Go."
"Okay," He leaned down to kiss me, "Bye, I love you."
"I love you, too," I put my hand on the back of his head to pull him back down to kiss him again, before letting him leave.

We listened to the sound if Milo's car starting and pulling away, Kayla went to do whatever it is she does up in her room all day and it was just Camryn and I.

"Cam," I began, "I'm scared."
She frowned, "Of what?"
