December 2020
"I love this time of the year," I commented, swinging our hands and holding the shopping bag in the other.
Milo and I were shopping at an outlet mall for Christmas.
I had worn a white shirt, fuzzy tan coat, black leggings, a white hat and scarf, along with my tan boots.
Milo laughed and dragged me to a store door, "Come on."
He pulled me to him and I giggled. I looked up and saw the mistletoe.
"Look up," I smiled, looking up, myself.
He grinned when he saw the hanging plant, but didn't miss a beat, and pulled me into a sweet kiss, with our stomachs touching. We shared a smile, before continuing our Christmas shopping.

"We're home!" I called, putting my bags on the kitchen table, while I hung up my scarf, hat, and coat.
"Finally!" Kayla said, joining us in the kitchen, reaching for my bags, "What'd you get?"
"Whoa!" I laughed, slapping her hand away, "Christmas gifts, Silly."
She feigned surprise, "I had no idea."
Milo grabbed her from behind and picked her up, "Sure, you didn't."
I laughed as Milo tickled his sister, "Okay, okay, you two. Let's get supper ready."The three of us got to work, making supper. We ate and did dishes.
"Let's watch some Hallmark Christmas movies!" Kayla and I said in sync.
"Let's not," Milo groaned as he took a seat in between Kayla and I.He wasn't a fan of romance movies, but he watched them if i wanted him to.
I took the remote and turned on The Christmas Lodge, before settling back into my spot next to Milo. We had a movie marathon and watched a bunch of movies, like A Christmas Melody, Mrs. Miracle, Christmas Mail, and a lot of other ones, before my head fell into Milo's lap and I was out like a light.

"Good morning, Baby," Milo smiled, kissing my forehead, as my eyes fluttered open.
"Good morning," I sighed, turning to check the time.
"Did you have a good Christmas?" He asked, cheekily.
"The best," I whispered, removing the pillow I had behind me laying my head on his chest. It was December 26 and I had fallen asleep early this morning, due to a 'Christmas present' Milo had gotten me.
"I love you," I mumbled, closing my eyes again.
"I love you, too," He kissed my temple lovingly, "Do you wanna get breakfast?"
I shook my head, groggily, "I wanna cuddle."
He chuckled, "As much as I want to just cuddle all day, I'm starving. How about I get IHOP for all of us, and you can sleep a little longer. After we eat, we can cuddle, I promise."
I nodded, inhaling deeply, "Okay..."I whimpered as he left, but not long after, decided to go downstairs.
I got up and threw on one of Milo's sweatshirts and a pair of gym shorts, before descending the stairs.
"Morning, Camryn," I greeted my future mother-in-law, as I entered the kitchen.
"Good morning, Meg," She smiled, and poured two cups of coffee. She handed one to me and I thanked her, before she sat down.
"Did Milo tell you he went to get breakfast?" She questioned.
I nodded, "He did."We continued to make small talk, before Kayla came downstairs.
"Hey, Kayla," I smiled.
She yawned, "Morning."
"Good morning, Sweetheart, how'd you sleep?" Camryn asked.
She shrugged, "Okay, could've been better. Milo and Meg didn't go to bed until probably 3:00 this morning. I don't know how they didn't wake you, I swear they almost knocked the walls down."Camryn laughed and my face flushed. Oops.
Before I could respond, Milo came inside with two IHOP bags.
"Look who's up," He teased, kissing me as he walked past.
"Shut up," I rolled my eyes and kissed him again.January 2020
I woke up, sick to my stomach. I tried to ignore it, but I felt the bile rise in my throat.
I don't remember moving, but the next thing I knew, I was leaning over the toilet, puking and Milo was behind me, pulling my hair out of my face and rubbing my back.
This was the third day in a row, this had happened. After I finished throwing up, I rinsed my mouth.
"You good?" Milo asked, softly.
I nodded, "I'm fine."
"Do you wanna take a hot shower?" He asked, kissing more sweaty forehead.
"Sure," I whispered. He helped me set the temperature, undress, and finally get into the huge shower.
"You okay if I go downstairs?" He asked.
"Yeah, I'll be fine," I smiled, softly. He kissed my cheek before leaving.
As I showered, I began thinking.
I don't get sick very easily, and when I do, it's never this bad. I thought about the fact that I was four days late for my period. That almost never happened. I squeezed my eyes shut, as I continued to shower and tears ran down my cheeks.
After I dressed, I dug through the bathroom cabinet, stopping once I found the little box. I opened it and pulled out a test.
I wasn't thinking clearly and tried to open the wrong end, before realizing my mistake and doing it correctly.
I set a timer leaned against the bathroom.
It gave me a lot of time to think about everything.
What if I really was pregnant?
Would Milo still love me?I wanted kids, but not now.
Ding!
Time was up. I took a deep breath, and with shaky hands, flipped over the little pink stick.
Pregnant.
