Chapter 38

March 2021

"Good morning," Milo whispered, kissing my cheek, putting his hand in my slightly protruding stomach.

To someone that didn't know I was pregnant, I would look absolutely normal, unless I had tight fitted clothes on, then I would look bloated, but you could feel the stiffness in my stomach.

"Morning," I muttered, sitting up quickly as I felt bile rush up my throat.

I shot towards the bathroom, barely making it there in time, before I vomited.

I heard Milo sigh from behind me, as he gathered my hair out of my face.

"I hate seeing you like this," He murmured, as he handed me a towel to wipe my mouth.
"It'll all be worth it in six months," I smiled slightly, before standing to brush my teeth.

I still had morning sickness, but it had definitely been better since we had gotten out of the first trimester.

"I can't wait to be a dad," Milo grinned, pressing a kiss to my cheek.

I giggled, before turning to go back into our room.

April 2021

"Mom," Milo began, as we entered the living room to find Camryn, "Kayla!"

It didn't take long for her to join us.

"We have some...news..." I trailed off.

I handed them both their respective bags, and told them to open them.

"No way!" Kayla shrieked holding up her shirt, just as Camryn opened hers.
"Promoted to Grandma..." Camryn's jaw dropped, "Honey that's amazing!"

Kayla was the first to hug me gently.

"I'm so excited!" Kayla said, hugging Milo as well.
Camryn had tears in her eyes as she hugged us, "Kayla, what does your shirt say?"
"I can't be calm, I'm going to be an aunt," She read, tearing up also.
"How far along are you?" Camryn asked, happily.
"Four months," I answered, placing my hand on my stomach, so they could see my bump through my baggy shirt.
"I can't wait FIVE WHOLE MONTHS," Kayla wailed, throwing her hand over her face.
Milo patted her back, "Me neither."
"It'll fly by, so fast," I informed her.
"I knew something was up," Camryn admitted, "I thought maybe you were expecting, but I didn't really know for sure."
I grinned, hugging her, "Well I'm so glad to be the first person to give you a grandbaby."
She hugged me tightly, beginning to cry, "I love you."
"I love you too," I responded.

"I'm so excited to tell my parents," I whispered, leaning against Milo's shoulder as the plane took off.
"Me too," He said, placing his hand on my ever growing stomach.
"They'll be so happy," I sighed, putting my hand over his, closing my eyes.

My eyes snapped open.

"Milo Manheim? Meg Donnelly?" A young girl's voice rang.
I smiled, removing both of our hands, "Hey there!"
"Can I get a picture with you?"
"Of course!"

The girl snapped a selfie of all of us and went back to her seat.
I nestled my face into his neck, resting my chin on his shoulder.

"I'm so tired," I whispered, kissing his cheek, softly.
"Take a nap Baby, you need it," He said, putting his arm around my shoulders.

I fell asleep, wordlessly.

"Momma!" I said, entering my parents New York City penthouse., and rushing to hug her.
"Baby!" She gasped, as she didn't know we were visiting, "What are you doing here?"

As my dad came into the room to hug me and Milo hugged both of my parents, I took in a deep breath.

"I have news..." I began.
"Liz you might want to sit down for this," Milo said, putting his hands on my shoulders.
She gasped again, "You're pregnant, aren't you?"
"Honey, don't jump to conclusions." My dad interjected.

We both looked at each other, like deer in headlights.

"They aren't....Are you?" Dad asked, turning to me.
"You are!" She cried, "My baby's gonna have a baby!"

We nodded, silently.

"Well congratulations, you guys," Dad said, hugging the both of us, "About time you make me a grandpa."

That caused the both of us to laugh, before Mom led us to the living room.

It was time to tell the fans. My entire body shook as Milo pressed the livestream button. And within seconds, 100 viewers, 200 viewers, until all of a sudden there were thousands.

"Hey guys," I smiled sweetly and waved.
"What's good?" Milo asked, excitedly.

It truly had been forever since we had gone live.

"Meg, you wanna start?" He turned and looked at me.

I shook my head, feeling as though I wouldn't be able to get my voice out.

"Okay, well I guess I'll say it," He smiled, "We are well aware that we have been INSANELY inactive on all socials, but we do have a good reason..."

He looked at me, trying to gauge my reaction, before he looked back to the camera.

"We are expecting a baby on August 23rd," He said, smiling widely.
I grinned at that, feeling his hand pressed against my stomach, "So, we're 15 weeks along."

The comments were blowing up so much, we hardly had time to read them, but it was safe to say, everyone was so excited for us.

April 2021

17 weeks. I'm 17 weeks pregnant and I know I'm not as big as I think I am, but I feel like a whale. Even in my pink and blue dress, standing at our gender reveal party.
Kaitlyn was the only person who knew the gender, because of course, she's the one who had set everything up.
It was beautiful and everything was perfect.

"So, just twist opposite ways at the top and bottom," She explained to us.
"Okay," I said, handing Milo the other cannon, "I can see Milo as a girl dad, and I think it's a girl."
Milo laughed, "I think boy...Countdown?"
"One...Two...Three..." Everyone shouted together.

Pink glitter filled the air.

"It's a girl!" We both screamed, hugging each other tightly.

Tears in my eyes, I leaned up to kiss my fiance sweetly. We were having a baby girl.

"Mother's intuition, I guess," Milo smirked, putting a hand on my bulging belly.
"I can't believe you ever doubted me," I shrugged.

He just rolled his eyes and kissed me once again.

haha i'm backkkk......sorry it took me FOREVER, i suck:) i've been insanely busy and honestly, my stories have been the last things on my mind. but i just reread the rest of this story and i'm cringing so hard at my writing. it's been at least a year since i updated and i feel i've improved SO MUCH. anywayssss hope you enjoyed!!
