I must have fallen asleep at one point. All I remembered was answering Ashton's text and that we kept texting until one of us stopped answering, which was probably me. I've known this boy for barely a month and already can't imagine life without him. I just had to be careful not to get too attached. But deep inside I knew that it was too late anyway.

During our conversation last night, we had agreed that he would pick me up at 10am, so I was getting ready now. I packed my camera, a spare battery and different camera lens. I wanted to be prepared for whatever was awaiting me.

Soon enough it got close to 10am and I left the house, to wait outside for Ashton to arrive. I didn't have to wait very long until he pulled up in front of the house, car roof pulled back, sunglasses on his nose, curly hair loosely flying through the wind. I immediately smiled when I saw him, laid my bag on the backseat, and got in next to him.

He managed to hug me, and we started off to rehearsal, chatting about how we both were tired and needed coffee as soon as we get there and that we probably shouldn't have stayed up so long. It was such a familiar, calm atmosphere and to me it was over way too quickly even though I was excited for the day ahead.

We walked into the building and Ashton guided us to a rehearsal room. He showed me everything since we were the first ones to arrive and well, I had never been in one before.

He let me sit down behind his drums, but I didn't dare to play anything. Maybe another time. He didn't push me to play, which was great. He instead gave me Luke's guitar and I sat on the floor, playing random guitar riffs and chords.

"Hey Ashton?", I asked, turning around to see him sitting on a cajon behind me.

"Yeah?", he answered, looking up from his phone.

"Know this one?", I asked smirking and started playing the first chords of Youngblood. He laughed but soon joined in on the cajon. I turned a bit around while playing so I could still watch him.

"Hey that's my guitar.", I heard someone exclaim and stopped playing.

"I know.", I said turning around to face Luke. He smiled and sat down between us.

"Go again.", he encouraged, and I looked at Ashton to count in, which he did. Luke started singing along and my smile widened. We finished and heard clapping. Michael and Calum had arrived.

"Well, that's what I call a warm welcome.", Michael joked and made his way over to us, Calum following.

"As much as I love random jam sessions, we should definitely do that again, we should start. Ryan's here for you Hazel, make sure to ask him whatever you want to, he's prepared.", Calum explained, and I nodded, silently thanking him.

They started off easy and I had enough time to get to know Ryan and vice versa. He had some helpful tricks for me and soon we started taking pictures of the boys, while they tried to rehearse. Ryan kept coming to me, asking if I was alright, looking at the pictures with me and giving me advice what to change or complimenting me on good ones.

I couldn't have asked for a better instructor, and this would definitely be helpful for the future. After a few hours of rehearsing and taking pictures, they called for a break which was Ryan's and my cue to put my memory card into the laptop, looking through the pictures.

"This one's great, the focus is completely right and everything else is blurred just like you wanted it to be.", he said pointing to a picture of Luke I had taken during "Teeth" I think. We went on for a while until I felt someone behind me, making me turn around.

"We wanted to order something for lunch, what do you guys want?" We told Michael what we'd like to have and went back to scanning the pictures. I've always loved that the most. Seeing what shots you got and editing them.
