"Dude, she's gone! You have to let her go. She told you, she is soon to be married. There is nothing you can do about that." Wooyoung heard his best friend say from across the table they were sat at.
"Shut up, Yeosang. I can make this work," Wooyoung said determinedly.
"Look, Wooyo. I know you've never met her parents, but hasn't she spoken about them, and how stubborn and thick headed they are?" His other best friend, Seonghwa perked up from beside Yeosang.
"I can change their mind. They can't marry her to some rich prick, just because he has a name to back him up, with fame, and a fortune. He's probably an ass, and I only want the best for Jiho." Wooyoung said, as he angrily poked the untouched pancakes — disregarding the many holes Wooyoung created out of anger — on his plate.
"You can't just judge her fiancé, you don't even know him!" Yeosang said exasperatedly.
"I do too! Fucking Choi San, makes my blood boil thinking about him."
"I doubt you've ever actually seen that guy, cause if you did you wouldn't be saying that," Seonghwa whispered the last part, Wooyoung choosing to ignore it, too mad in the head to care.
"He seems like the type of person to use his power against people, so they don't expose him to the masses. Dumb, rich bloke." Wooyoung continued to bash the unknown man.
"Okay, that's enough. I'm tired of this," Yeosang said as he asked the waitress for the bill.
"Wait, what did you say his name was?" Seonghwa asked Wooyoung, after he seemed to have gotten a realization.
"Choi San, why?" Wooyoung asked confused.
"My boyfriend works under him. He is the son of the CEO of Choi Highlights, right?"
"Yeah..."
"Yeah, then Hongjoong works there. He works side by side with San, says he's a dear."
"I don't believe it. I told you he's paying him extra to say that." Wooyoung tried to sell them out on his lies.
Seonghwa looked at him deadpanned. "I don't think my boyfriend would lie to me about such a thing. He knows how much I worry about him."
"Hmph," Wooyoung huffed, ready to leave already. They each split the bill, paying for their own meals, before walking out the café.
Once out the door, Yeosang asked, "anyone down for some arcade?"
"I'm out, I have to prepare a special dinner for Joongie." Seonghwa said, eyes glittering just thinking about the small man.
"Hm, okay. Have fun," Yeosang patted Seonghwa on the back. "So, me and Wooyoung then?"
"I'll pass, not in the mood." Wooyoung tried getting out of it, only to get himself dragged by Yeosang.
"I think the fuck not. You're coming with me," Yeosang said, determined to make the latter smile after the devastating news that happened, only last night.

"Thank you a lot for this, Yeosang," Wooyoung smiled sluggishly as they walked out of the arcade. He had a slushy in his hand, as he wrapped his other one around Yeosang's arm, making them walk out the place together.
Wooyoung was a giggling mess after they took a swig of 'funny juice'. Basically, it was some sort of drink that would make you start laughing for no reason. Yeosang and Wooyoung both believed it wouldn't work, but it did, and Wooyoung liked the feeling of it, making him chug more and more. He didn't feel any pain in that moment, instead he felt immense happiness coming out in the form of sweet giggles.
