The sound of an alarm filled the room, as San groggily opened his eyes, trying his best to adjust to his surroundings. This wasn't his place, that was obvious. He glanced to the other side of the bed occupied by the beautiful woman he spent last night with. He shut off the annoying sound, looking back at her carefully, moving her silky blonde hair slightly, seeing her eyes shut, allowing him to maneuver his way out of the bed.
Picking up his discarded clothes, he quickly pulled his pants on, buttoning his shirt quickly, as he was searching for his other pair of shoes. Cursing inwardly, he spotted the darn thing under his side of the bed. Quickly putting it on, he collected the rest of his items, and walked out of the room, shutting the door behind him. He heaved out a sigh, going over to the nearby mirror to check his complexion, wincing at his disheveled hair.
Slicking it back in a presentable way, he hurriedly left the house, hastily checking the time since he was going to be late. He, however, couldn't go to work immediately, rather he needed to take a quick visit to his own house. Calling a taxi didn't take too long at this hour, so he gave the details and was on his way.
Paying the driver, he rushed through the gates, struggling slightly with the keys before it opened. Entering he immediately made way to the second floor where his master bedroom was, opening the door rather loudly, he didn't notice the sleeping woman taking up the left side of the bed, as he barged into his connected walk-in closet.
It was until he walked out to place the items on the bed that he realized Jiho's sleeping frame. Instead, he gathered his clothes once more, and walked out of the room, going to take a shower in the guest bathroom downstairs, as to not disturb her, since he really didn't wanna be interrogated of his whereabouts last night.
Waiting until it was just about the right temperature, he stepped into his shower, trying to finish fast as to not get a scolding from his father today. Not taking long, he quickly closed the water, getting into his robe, and walking into the guest room once more. Drying his hair using the towel, he wasted no time in getting dressed. Spraying some of the perfume that he strategically placed there months ago, he was ready to leave, except he didn't know where he left his keys.
Walking into his at-home office, he found a file placed on his desk, a note stuck on the top of it. Curious, he went over to it, and his eyes widened as he noticed these were important documents for the meeting he had, which he was running late to...
Grabbing them, he made his way to the door again, luckily his keys were in his pockets as he placed it there before the shower, and he made his way to his work building. Swiftly moving between cars, he made it there quicker than he imagined. He parked the vehicle in his usual spot, and ran towards the elevator, waiting impatiently for it to open.
Clicking the heel of his shoes, he checked the time and noticed he was almost 13 minutes late. Finally he heard a ding, indicating the elevator had arrived, and tapped the 7th floor, holding a hand to his chest, letting out a deep breath.
After the doors opened, he quickly made his way towards the door of the meeting he was supposed to be at. Heart pounding in his chest, he sharply took in a breath, and opened the door hastily. When he did so, he was met with several eyes staring back at him. He watched each person's expression carefully, from his brother's bored, rolling eyes, to his best friend Yunho's soft, caring ones, to his father's angry, bitter stare. He gulped, before bowing an apology for being late, and placing himself in between Jongho and Yunho, sitting quite uncomfortably, before the meeting carried on smoothly.
As the others continued to speak and write notes, San's leg bounced up and down, clicking his pen continuously, catching Yunho's eyes several times, causing the older to worriedly ask if he was alright. San murmured back that he was fine, then proceeded to write down what the men were discussing.
