"...And that's how my night ended," fiddling with his fingers, Wooyoung ended his recollection of last night, leg bouncing at the serene silence Yeosang had as he listened intently to everything Wooyoung said without cutting him.
After a few seconds of fully comprehending what his best friend just said, Yeosang took in a deep breath as he started to speak. "So, you're telling me... Your father... the man you haven't seen in ages just shows up out of nowhere and says some shit that drives you nuts, LITERAL NUTS, THAT YOU GO OFF DRIVING TO GOD KNOWS WHERE. ENDING UP WITH A LOW TANK SINCE, NEWSFLASH, YOU HAVEN'T USED YOUR CAR IN MONTHS, NO SHOCKER THERE. BUT THEN!!!! WHAT'S WORSE IS YOU "ACCIDENTALLY" CALL SAN??? TO PICK YOU UP INSTEAD OF MEEE???"
"Yeo, I told you my battery was low and—"
"OH YEAH. AND YOUR PHONE DIED. WHAT ELSE COULD'VE HAPPENED WE SAY. OH A LOT APPARENTLY. YOU THEN SIT ON THAT FUCKING CLIFF AND STARGAZE WITH MR. PERFECT ALL NIGHT BEFORE YOU RIDE HIM??? THE SAME NIGHT YOUR DAD SUPPOSEDLY CAME BACK??WHAT'S ACTUALLY WRONG WITH YOU, WOOYOUNG? YOU'RE SICK, YOU KNOW THAT?"
"Y-you said you w-wouldn't get mad—"
"Oh well, SORRY, but- but," Yeosang's voice started getting weak as he seemed ill just by hearing the news. Getting on his feet, and pushing past the words that were thrown at him, Wooyoung stood by his best friend to steady him.
"Sit down, here take some water," after conjuring a glass, Wooyoung handed Yeosang the cup, as the older boy hands shook while gulping down, hard. "Feeling better?"
"Yeah, I'm alright, I'm just- I'll just be going now..."
"Are you sure? You can stay a little while longer if you want, and we talk things through.."
"No, Wooyoung. I'll just see you later, bye." Collecting his stuff, Yeosang walks out the apartment without further talking.
Wooyoung sighed gloomily, as he went back to his room to get ready for work.

While wiping down the counter for the nth time today, Wooyoung heard the bell ring as a new customer arrived. Looking up, he was surprised to see his favorite couple strut in, walking hand in hand. Stopping right in front of the younger, Seonghwa and Hongjoong sent Wooyoung a warm smile as they both greeted him.
"Hi Wooyoungie," the couple said simultaneously, stunning the young male.
"Hello hyungies," Wooyoung said in a awfully shrill, fake cheeriness. When his smile dropped instantly, the couple noticed the dark circles forming around the younger's eyes. "Here for a mini lunch date?" Wooyoung asked not looking up at them as he continued to tidy up the counter for Lisa, the cashier on duty right now.
"Oh, us? No," Hongjoong said smiling. "We're here for you! Besides... this place isn't really the... ideal place for a date I'd take my Seongie to," he said cheerfully, choosing his words creatively.
"Oh, I reckon this place isn't good enough for your prestige, now is it, Joong?" Wooyoung snapped, turning his back, and grabbing a towel, flinging it over his shoulder.
"Young-ah, you're a bit on edge today. Is everything alright?" The eldest spoke up finally.
Wooyoung sighed at the soft voice of his best friend, turning around slowly. "I'm just tired, hyung."
"I can tell, didn't you get enough sleep last night?" The small shake of the youngest head was an answer enough, Seonghwa drawing his lips in a tight line. "Hm, I see. You... You wanna talk about it?"
"Maybe another time," Wooyoung tried hard to manage a smile, failing miserably.
The light voice of Hongjoong piped up, "you know... keeping it in will only make it worse. We're always here to listen, Woo."
