Yeosang stood next to an anxious Wooyoung, as they both were making their way to their respective places. "What exactly happened after I left, Woo?" Yeosang asked as he saw the young man play with his fingers continuously. However, Wooyoung didn't seem to hear him, so he nudged his side, to no avail, so he tried snapping his finger in front of his face, getting a reaction finally.
"H-huh? What?" Wooyoung asked, snapping out of his daze.
"I said... What happened after I left?" He repeated.
"Oh..." He didn't really feel like talking about it, but since Yeosang was urging him, and he was his best friend, he thought it was best to get it out of his system now.
"So, last night I went out with Hyunjin after San had pissed me off by talking poorly of my family, so I walked away, so you know, I don't get arrested, but anyways. I went with Hyunjin to a bar his friend worked at, and got pretty drunk, and I don't really know what happened after, but I'm guessing San was there, and managed to get me to sleep with him? I don't really know the details, Yeo..." Yeosang took in the information he was being fed, but soon the blabbering got too much.
"Woo, give yourself a second to breathe, and tell me what happened after I left."
"O-okay," taking in a couple deep breathes, he started talking again. "So, basically, as I think you've heard, paparazzi??? captured photos of us walking out hand in hand, so San needs a backstory to prove he wasn't out fucking me."
"You didn't agree, right?"
"I had no choice, Yeo. Obviously, I retorted, but I just wish I didn't have to do this, or did this in general, but it happened, and now I have to pay for that." Wooyoung sighed inwardly, his body dropping.
Noticing this, Yeosang asked more, wanting to understand why this affected him so much, although- he could already understand. "What's the backstory?"
"That San came to me to ask for tips on how to surprise Jiho, and that I have to be his best man in the wedding, so that the public think we're just very close friends."
"Damn, isn't that too far?"
"That's what I said!" Wooyoung screamed, instantly lowering his voice as he was still in the middle of the road, nearing his job. "We even exchanged numbers because we will be seeing each other more often, cause you know, best man duties call," Wooyoung said sarcastically, with an obvious eye roll and exaggerated hand movements.
Yeosang nodded to that information, not asking any further, leading the walk in silence. Soon after, they arrived to Wooyoung's place, so Yeosang told him off, and started walking over to his spot, turning back to wave at the younger, but not spotting him this time. This was the first time Wooyoung didn't wait until Yeosang was stood at his café, but he understood why, so he shrugged it off, and walked in.

"How's my darling?" Yeonjun asked as he embraced Wooyoung from behind, making the younger manage a smile.
"Not so well, Junnie," he said simply, already starting with his work, taking out plates and cleaning them, before placing them in front of the chefs for later use.
Following suit, Yeonjun questioned him on that statement, "is it about Jiho and her fiancé?" Wooyoung just nodded, seemingly not wanting to talk, so he left him, and went to the back room instead. Work continued usually after that, nothing out of the ordinary happening, that is until Wooyoung checked his phone for the first time since last night, during his break to an array of worried texts from Hyunjin. Poor boy thought he was kidnapped, so instead of replying through text, he called his friend, relieved when he answered quickly.
"Wooyoung?? You're alive?? Oh gosh! Lee Know hyung didn't even know where you went! I thought you were kidnapped!" The younger blabbered.
"Hyunjinnie, calm down, I'm fine. Nothing of the sort happened, I just ended up leaving with someone else..."
"YOU GOT LAID?! Oh, how they grow up so fast..." Knowing Hyunjin's antics he could imagine him wiping a fake tear right about now.
"Yes, yes Hyunjin, but I'm not happy about it."
Wooyoung's tone alarmed him, "why not?"
The other sighed from his side of the phone, "you remember that guy we were talking about last night? The one who talked about my family?"
"Your ex's fiancé, yeah? What about hi- OH WAIT! JUNG WOOYOUNG, YOU DIDN'T."
"I did, Jinnie, I did," he said sighing in distress. "Worst part, I don't even remember it."
"Yikes, but Woo, what are you gonna do about this now?"
"Woo! Break's over!" He heard the voice of his friend calling for him.
"Wait, I'll call you later, Jin! Bye, love you," he didn't even notice the words slipping from his tongue but he smiled when the younger replied back.
"Okay! Love you too, but don't think this is over, Wooyoung-sshi!"
"Of course, now I really have to go, bye!"
"Bye." Sighing, Wooyoung hung up, and got back to work, the day ending soon after, making him collect his stuff again, and get ready to leave. He was on duty to close up the diner tonight, so after he checked up and locked the cash register, he firmly held the door keys in his hand, as he closed the lights inside the place. Exiting, the wind played with his black locks, as he closed up the store, and turned back only to be faced by a face he never thought he'd see again.
"Hello, son," the man smiled brightly at the young boy, making a shiver run down his spine.
