Time flew by at work today, San was grateful that his pounding headache reduced the more he focused on his work. Right now, he was headed out with Mingi and Yunho for a night out, as much as he didn't want to, he couldn't reject it when his friends were vibrating with joy.

"It's been so long since we've went out just the three of us like this!" Mingi exclaimed.

Yunho cooed at his lover, pinching his cheeks, "you're right, love." The smiles on the couples' faces made San almost gag, groaning, he walked away faster to the bar to get them started for the night.

He ordered a line of shots and already started with his share, making the couple whine and scold him for beginning without them. San laughed as he lined up an array of shot glasses for them to get started too. After chugging down the remainder, San shook his head at the migraine resurfacing. He ignored it though, and ordered another drink, laughing with his friends who started slowly swaying to the music playing in the small bar.

"Thank you for coming, Woo. You really did seem bummed out earlier," his best friend said as they walked through the bar.

"I'm just tired, Yeo, but of course I would come, you asked." The two shared a smile as they made their way through the crowd, looking for Seonghwa and Hongjoong.

They found them by a booth near the back, the eldest waving his hands at them, ushering them to come over quickly. The two smiled as they noticed that Hongjoong was already pretty drunk and close to falling off his chair.

"Hi boys! Thank you for inviting us, Yeo. Hongjoong really needed the break," Seonghwa said, smiling brightly as his boyfriend buzzed around him happily.

"I can tell. Besides, why are you even thanking me? Of course, we'd invite you guys! Speaking of inviting... I'm going to go get us some drinks, my treat! You guys stay here, I'll be back." He slipped through before anyone argued with him about his choice.

So, Wooyoung was left with his favorite couple, smiling endearingly at the way Seonghwa was caring for the man in his arms. The older ran his fingers through his lover's hair, while the two fell into comfortable conversation while waiting for Yeosang to return.

However, the other seemed to be taking a while, making his friends start to worry. "What's taking Yeo so long? Do you think he needs help?" Seonghwa asked, biting his lips anxiously.

"I don't know, how about I go and check up on him?" As Wooyoung started to stand, Seonghwa did too.

"I'll come with you, Wooyo," the older started, before Wooyoung cut him off.

"No, it's okay, hyung. You stay here with Joongie hyung. I'll go check up on Yeo, I'm sure he's around here somewhere. Stay here, okay?" Wooyoung pleaded with the older, before Seonghwa reluctantly slumped back and let the younger go.

Wooyoung checked the bar first, hoping that the older must've just taken a while because of a busy crowd, but of course, it wouldn't be that easy. Maybe he just found himself someone and got distracted? He tried to convince himself of that, but the weird churning feeling he felt coming from his stomach didn't allow him that privilege. He almost began to panic when he felt a hand clasp onto his arm and hot breathing near his ear.

He quickly jerked away, eyes wide but softening at the sight of his best friend, whom was having difficulty breathing. Before Wooyoung could ask, he was being dragged away from the crowd, as his best friend was trying to catch his breath.

Wooyoung helped stabilize him, by keeping him close, and allowing him to follow the heaves of his own chest. Once he was able to breathe normally, Wooyoung quickly asked him, "Yeo, what's wrong? What took you so long?"

Just as he was trying to reply, they heard Seonghwa's voice call out to him. "Sangie! Are you okay?"

Yeosang barely managed a response, but nodded his head and replied. "Yes, yes, I'm okay hyung. Sorry I took long. The drinks—"

"It's okay, Yeo! I'm just glad you're okay," Seonghwa then wrapped his arms around Yeosang's shaking frame, while mouthing to Wooyoung 'what's wrong?' Wooyoung shrugged, not knowing yet.

"Seongie?" A light voice called from behind the trio. Instantly, Seonghwa turned to capture Hongjoong in his arms again.

"Yes, baby?"

"'M sleepy," Hongjoong said yawning, unknowingly proving his point.

Seonghwa cooed. "Okay, love. We'll head home now okay??" Hongjoong nodded, laying his head on the taller's chest. Seonghwa turned to his friends, smiling apologetically. "I'm sorry to cut this short, but we'll be on our way now," the two nodded at him, before the older continued. "But Woo," he started whispering again, "tell me what happens later." Wooyoung acknowledged him, and before the couple left, Seonghwa made sure they would take care of each other and inform him when they have returned home.

Soon after, the duo watched as the couple made their way out of the bar. Wooyoung then faced his best friend, who seemed on the verge of tears by this point. Immediately wrapping his arms around the older, Wooyoung asked him what was wrong.

Yeosang sighed and shook his head. "Come with me, I don't think I can do this sober."

Although confused, Wooyoung accepted, following his best friend towards the bar. He watched as Yeosang ordered the strongest drink they offered, worrying the younger, whom just ordered a beer since he wanted to be alert of their surroundings when Yeosang would start slurring his words.

Sighing into his bottle, Wooyoung watched how Yeosang nursed and whimpered at the strong drink in his hand, although refusing to change it. This was going to be a looong night.

a/n: hello hello! i already wrote this chapter but it got deleted so i had to rewrite it and my god did that piss me off 😭 ik i said i would work on it privately and stuff but with it being my senior year i got quite busy i didn't manage to write anything so i'll just post whenever i am able to go get smth done so i apologize in advance for the inconsistent updates <3 hope you guys like this chap i'll be working on the next one shortly (i mean i'll start rn and never know when i'll finish it 😭😭) but yeah i love y'all and hopefully get my grind back on in here 😵‍💫😵‍💫
