It's been a week since Yeosang returned and the boys met his boyfriend, immediately growing a liking to him. It wasn't long before the four of them decided to go and hang out like the good old days, but this time, they weren't aware of the life changing news they would receive. As they all sat down for a glass of wine, laughing over a memory Yeosang spilled, Hongjoong rose his glass in the air, causing the boys to all shift their eyes towards him.
The clinking of his glass seized when everyone settled down, so Hongjoong started with a smile, "boys. I know you thought we brought you here for our typical outings, but this time we have something special to share," he looked at Seonghwa, the older smiling in glee.
The eldest turned to the best friends, showing off his hand as he exclaimed, "we're getting married!"
Both boys gasped loudly, Yeosang shooting up from his chair, while Wooyoung's hands clung to his face.
"NO WAYYY!"
"That ring looks phenomenal!"
They exclaimed at the same time, making the engaged couple laugh at their silliness. They spent the rest of the night talking about it, how they did it, when he asked, where they were planning to do it, how much the ring cost and the likes... The couple happily indulged them discussing all their future plans for the wedding, something blooming in Wooyoung's chest. Happiness for his friends and the love they share mingled with his own wishes of starting a family caused the first few tears to slip down his face. Seonghwa was the first to catch it, cooing at him before embracing him. Hongjoong followed suit, staring at Yeosang from his position, the younger rolling his eyes but joining in on the hug. He calmed down pretty quick, but the pure bliss he felt was unmatched, he was glad the two got to celebrate their love this proudly.

Time flew by with a blink of an eye. No one said preparing for a wedding would be this challenging and time consuming. Wooyoung forgot when his days started and when they ended, having to attend all the meetings as one of the best men. He felt himself being pulled on two sides, trying to be there for his friends and also not get caught up in his own feelings about marriage. It was no shock he wishes to be a husband, having planned to propose to his ex girlfriend the year prior. Not time to open up old wounds, he reminded. He shook the thoughts away, it was now hours before the wedding. They flew out to Bangkok the night before, and he and Yeosang already checked out the venue through the many facetime calls with Seonghwa, but it sure looked better in person.
Yeosang, who was standing next to Wooyoung, noticed the younger's discomfort, nudging him out of his thoughts, "you okay, Woo?"
"huh? Oh, yeah, I'm great, just thinking..."
"About what?" He questioned as he was fixing his bowtie.
"Well, you know the last time I was a best man, it wasn't really the best idea..."
Yeosang snorted, looking at Wooyoung's eyes through the mirror. "That's different, Woo. That time you were fucking the groom, this time, oh I sure hope you aren't sleeping with Hongjoong hyung."
Wooyoung looked at him deadpanned, "ha ha, very funny." It may have been a jab at him, but somehow it made him feel better.
Yeosang smiled at him earnestly, patting his back as he faced him, "sorry, but seriously. There's nothing to worry about, Hwa hyung and Joong are perfect for each other, not even you can ruin that."
Wooyoung wanted to roll his eyes at his friend's comfort but he decided against it, instead the two made their way behind the gate as the ceremony was soon to start.
"Ready, Woo?" Yeosang whispered from beside him.
"More than I'll ever be!"
And so the doors opened and in walked Yeosang and Wooyoung arms linked as they made their way down the aisle to take their positions by the bride and groom. For equality's sake the couple decided each of the pair would be the best man for one of them. So, Yeosang was on Seonghwa's side, and Wooyoung on Hongjoong's.
Wooyoung's eyes turned towards the crowd, catching San's eyes as the older smiled and clapped for him from his seat. His heart warmed at the sight, a delicious tingle simmered in Wooyoung's stomach as he felt his insides flutter. His eyes drifted as the gates were opening again and in walks Seonghwa in his beautiful white tuxedo, bouquet in hand, as he lovingly stared down the aisle at Hongjoong. It didnt take long for the man by the alter's eyes to water up as he watched the eldest make his way to him with a wide smile on his face. Yeosang and Wooyoung exchanged eye contact from their positions, knowing smiles on their faces.
When Seonghwa made it, he made quick moves to wipe the tears from the shorter's eyes, making everyone awe at their love. He separated from him, hands still intertwined until the priest cut between them. He cleared his throat, waiting of rthe chatter around the room to lessen, before speaking up. Wooyoung held back tears as he saw Hongjoong and Seonghwa's parents huddled up together, tears pooling as they watched their sons stare lovingly at one another. His eyes betrayed him as the priest's voice was long forgotten, his eyes honing in on his boyfriend in the crowd. He didn't have to stare too long before San's eyes caught his, his gaze filled with so much promise. Wooyoung hated to be selfish, but the idea of him and San stood on this alter instead swam to the forefront of his mind. He wondered how good the older would look in his tailored suit, but the more frightening idea scared the image away. Would San even want that?
They weren't together long, but even Wooyoung knew his stance on marriage, was that something San desired too? Or was this all just in his imagination? Claps were heard, cutting him from his thoughts, as the couple exchanged their vows. Words spilled like poetry from their lips, love glazed like honey as it pours out of them in waves. Wooyoung's eyes travel back to San's as the two finally kiss, but San's eyes weren't locked back on his.
